Here's a few things about some of the points on this iceberg, if you wanna read it feel free (I may or may not have wrote 18 paragraphs about crtiical thour defenders) (also if you want another 18 paragraphs to read, there's a bit of trivia that I also wrote, but it made my comment too long for youtube): 1. So about Nightmare mode, apparently it had just ended up getting converted into TBO. I am pretty sure there's a message somewhere in CTDCord of Shava saying that Nightmare mode got replaced with TBO, but I'm not too certain. 2. This isn't really that important, but Shocker isn't described energy tower. According to it's description, it's an "electric" tower, because there must be some kind of absolutely insane difference between the two 3. I like that you indirectly mentioned what was said in that message mwoonie sent about how cstd would be better than ctd (also fun fact ! the main reward of the cs tournament that was hosted a few months after cstd development started was incorrectly stated to be "exclusive to the tournament". It was later stated that this was done for the sole purpose of trying to hype up the tournament, because everyone needs their very own Hacker tower. Or something) 4. I am pretty sure the tester room that's being referred to is actually relatively simple to get into, the room is just behind the door you find to the left of the anomaly linking machine. The room doesn't contain much, though, as really the only interesting thing is an elevator that needs a keycard (presumably level 3) to use. But, as of a recent update, the elevator isn't even an elevator anymore, so you can't get into it. Also, in order to get into the tester room without clipping through the door, you need a level 3 keycard to open it 5. About the illegal leaks, I know that this is just referring to illegal leaks in general, but I'd like to mention an old leak from around the time after the halloween event released (in the old ctd server). This leak was somebody showing off their perk inventory, full of a bunch of unused perks with placeholder icons. At the time, fart responded by denying the validity in the image, however I am pretty sure that some of the perks shown actually ended up getting released later on. In particular, the one that I remember the most was withering flames, however something interesting was that, alongside withering flames, the leak also had another infernus perk. I don't quite remember what this perk was, but I feel like it's name had something to do with poison 6. Fun fact, most of The Endless Burning of Space and Time was actually just copied from a specific stage in Arknights. I don't know what stage this is, but I do know that it plays similarly to TEBOST, and also it has two enemies that are statistically similar to the flameshields that appear while after the main boss (also, did you know that The Endless Burning of Space and Time has been officially referred to as two different things? I am pretty sure that the names listed in the badge and the actual elevator were different) 7. This doesn't exactly have anything too important to do with Glowing Gorge, but I remember making up stupid methods to enter the Glowing Gorge event that involved unlocking Discomastermancer's fixed gui. Funniest part is, I am pretty sure some people actually thought it was real 8. To add onto the Muglow Tower speculation, the 4th icon in the secrets menu resembles the silhouette of a hard hat, so it could be possible that he was intended to be the 4th secret tower. However, at the time of the secrets being added, it would've been pretty odd, as Muglow was very close to the suspicious cone involved with unlocking conehead (yes, it is actually called the suspicious cone. That's what it's model is named, do not ask how I have this information) 9. I would like to comment about how Combat Miner definitely deserved to get scrapped. Combat Miner was literal garbage, for one perk slot you'd get a 1 DMG attack with 1 or 1.5 Firerate (I think it was originally 1.5, but I do remember Fart saying that it got buffed to 1 Firerate at some point), and each level would only give +1 DMG each. There was literally no reason you would want to use Combat Miner, if you'd want to get defense and eco at the same time, Thief would literally just outclass Combat Miner in both damage output and income 10. I very mysteriously know what the Painter's description said it does. I don't remember the exact description, but I do know that it said the Painter was able to use debuffs that towers near the Painter would've applied (i.e. Painter could imbue his attacks with burn, poison, freeze, etc.). If I were to make a guess, this got scrapped since most debuffs don't stack, so really all Painter would've done was extending the range of Hot Rash or Dump's burn 11. Hahah, ok, I think I know what this is referring to. A few days ago, somebody posted a screenshot of the drone in the ctd lobby, and then people did the only reasonable thing: making absurd speculations about a drone that's been in the lobby for a long time. I had seen people speculating it was summoned by Controller, or it was apart of Sovereign, or other wacky things, and due to the fact that this drone has just been chilling in the lobby for quite awhile, I am pretty sure none of them were right 12. Fun fact about the Catseye Lair: the inclusion of the Crimson Catseye in the halloween event was likely a reference to an old roblox halloween event, in which you were searching for the Crimson Catseye 13. About the Chrono tower, I am pretty sure that Chrono was originally planned on being added as a tower. This was also why the "Chrono?" boss had a question mark at the end of it's name, as it would imply that the boss you're fighting isn't the real Chrono. Anyways, slightly related to this, I remember a suggestion in CTDCord that suggested adding Chrono in as an NPC who would let you play old events (with no rewards), and this had gotten pinned. However, I'm pretty sure that shard had later said this was scrapped because of Arena Tower Defense adding in a similar feature, since he didn't want it to look like he copied them. I don't quite remember where shard said this tho (I think it was somewhere in the new CTDCord, not sure where)
When The Black Ordeal was added as a secret page on the Trello it was labeled as the "Chrono Event" it only had pictures n stuff, not sure if they were serious or if it was a coverup name.
