If the government was doing more for migrants to integrate, accept British values and do not create little ghettos all over the Country, it might stop a lot of people wanting a stronger response ( not all far right as the media like to imply all the time). It is well known that the idea of a "multicultural society" is problematic, if not incoherent as its critics would say. Even David Cameron and Angela Merkel have admitted as much. It seems naive for Mark Rowley to argue both that right-wing violence has to be suppressed (this is his legitimate job) and then that their views should not have a political or cultural presence either. That simply disallows critics of the multicultural society from any participation in public life. And obviously, "Muslim" and "White" are not contraries.

Unfortunately this is an inevitable reaction to the mass immigration of different cultures over the past twenty years, in particular begun by Tony Blair.

Naturally there will be those that will react in an extreme manner because it is an imposition they had no control over. I love this use of far right by the BBC. Have they forgotten the real far right groups that existed in the past like Combat 18? There is a huge difference between people voicing opinions, whether you agree with that opinion or not and armed groups that truly define the term "far". This is another attempt to link perfectly normal, concerned people with legitimate issues into something they are not. Another hit piece by the BBC. The left only recently blamed the BBC for being too right wing so perhaps that along with this is even further evidence why the TV licence should be abolished and the BBC be forced to die along with being held accountable for covering up for the likes of Saville and others.
