What makes him a can’t miss prospect is 2 things:
1. He hits his WRs in stride when they are wide open every single time.
2. He is already throwing WR open. That’s something most guys learn when they get to the NFL. Lawrence was hitting tight windows constantly in college.
Yep, he can flick his wrist like the best can. Has so much control of the trajectory, speed, everything. It's a different game for guys like him

Man this guy is something special, been watching him since freshman year; I knew about him since his high school year, his mechanics is superb and can make every nfl throw. I’m glad to have him as Jaguars fan and my city

We know the physical tools are there, but I like the way he goes through his progressions and he's really good against the blitz.
His release is a little slow and his wrs are often wide open. I'm not really impressed.

I agree with you and I also think that Ohio state exposed that Clemson didn’t have a big 6-4 perimeter receiver like justyn ross in 2020.

He doesn’t scan the field. I always look at QB’s eyes. He throws the the first option almost every time. I would take zack Wilson over him

In terms of individual skill set, he is definitely NFL ready. Most impressive of all is his balance in the pocket. He's always ready to move or throw. I hope he can adjust to the NFL tempo along with the QB responsibilities that will come. If so, watch out. Makes the NFL super exciting.
You see him twitch at times feeling pressure in the pocket but he stays balanced and eyes are always down field..

Seriously, luck looked a lot better and he was a better pro prospect than Lawrence too. Luck was a once in a life time type prospect while Lawrence is considered a once in a generation. Whats the difference? The difference is that people use Luck, not Tlaw, as a benchmark for future college QBs declaring for the NFL. You will see multiple generational type of players like Tlaw In a life time.

I live a couple counties over from Cartersville in Paulding. I'm also a Jacksonville Jaguars fan since I was a kid in 1995 (when we got the team) and I watch him every week. The offense is utterly horrible and the Jaguars have actually regressed from last season, but when the Jaguars get him some weapons, watch out! I'm so excited to see what he can really do. Go Jags! Go Noles!

I personally think Wilson has the potential to be the best qb in this class, but Lawrence has such a high floor already, whereas Wilson might need a year or two and may never reach his ceiling. TLaw really is a can’t miss prospect.

@@cwb8047 Thanks. My first NFL game was the Pats game right after 9/11. Got free tix bec people were still nervous about gathering in public places. Had just moved to Boston months earlier and was excited to see Drew Bledsoe who I was a long time fan of only to see him get knocked out by the Jets. Was so upset that I left the game early when some nobody back up named Tom Brady entered the game....
@@morningwaves Before the Jags came to Jacksonville. I was and still am a Miami Dolphins fan. As far back to when the play in the old Stadium, live Dolphins in the tank and all. You could never do that today.
I always liked the Pats even though they were in the same Div. I've always disliked the Jets. Even with Joe N.
I have such high hopes that the Jags can regain their former glory. We have been to the AFC title game 3 times. So its not like we've had no success.

Trevor lawrence is smart af. That's why he will do good. People tend to think athletic ones like Hurts, Tua and Watson win superbowls. Trevor, brady, brees, rodgers, and mahommes are all smart and tactical af, and that is why they win.

Very true about smart QBs. Most people thought Burrow and Tua were the best QBs in their class, but Herbert is best so far. Justin Herbert graduated with a 4.0 with a Biology degree and was a TA. Dude is super smart

We have too many holes to fix in one offseason... But we have enough toys for him to play with for now... i would focus on our Oline... make it top 5. If anything... i wouldn’t mind signing a vet TE, like a Kyle Rudolph on a team friendly deal.

@@RicanDaddi09 i don’t like Henry either. And as much as I would like JSmith, he’s more of a luxury pickup . I would prefer just a an established vet and draft one in the later rounds. I wouldn’t mind JSmith if it doesn’t break the bank. Sign a DE, S, two OL and a few bargain players (maybe like a marvin jones, keelan cole, etc) and then just focus on the draft.

Lawrence is so much better than all the other QB's in the draft it's not even funny... I've watched the higlihgts of all the other QB's (Wilson/Mack/Lance/Fields) and he's head and shoulders above them all. Congrats Jags from a Niners fan
What i see here is a very very talented QB with exceptionally talented skill players surrounding him. Clemson with Lawrence was a Juggernaut. I am a Die Hard Notre Dame fan, i know we beat Clemson without TL and Justyn Ross, plus they were missing Their 2 All American Defenders, Skalski and Davis. That Win for us should have an Asterisk, cause they throttled us in the ACC Championship Game. Lawrence is gonna be a star for Jax, thats money statement

Because they see no problem with their offense so they wont do anything to it. That's the one thing I dont like, they wont add to the position until its noticeable that it becomes a weakness, we make average and trash receivers look good and apparently that's good enough for our coaching staff which is sad, a true #2 receiver would make that offense dangerous

I think he will do fairly well. The o line needs a bit of work but it's not terrible. He has some weapons between chark, shenault, Robinson and the addition of Marvin Jones
