And he is a true X-Files fan so that's also one of the reasons the production wanted him.
He's a comedian, and that X-Files episode is actually pretty funny.

One of the best films I've seen all year. Great sense of humor, Romano is understated and perfect. Hunter delivers one of her most genuine performances in years.
This movie is so good. It deserves more recognition than it actually gets. Oscar nominee... Yeah but it deserves more. It stirred up so many emotions while I was watching it.

Max Power, from a marketing perspective that is irrelevant. The guy has his own following which would work wonders for the promo. but i see your point because it would be kind of misleading... but he still should've got a bit more shine here. Him and Aidy are far more relevant than Ray Ramano at this point.

George It's a romantic comedy. We have seen this plotline several times before, but I would watch it because I like Kumail's comedy.
Hammad Ahmed romantic comedy is a genre not a plot line and honestly we've never seen this before
I find this one more unique, though. Zoe Kazan is playing Kumail's real life wife. This movie is a completely true story. Kumail and his wife wrote the movie. That level of personal makes the film a lot more to me than just a "romantic comedy". I wish they would've left out that tagline honestly.
