    I know for subscription services like dish etc you need the set top box to watch them, but how about the free ones like C band satellites etc? Can your device or the Ws6906 allow you to watch such channels after locking on said satellites?

      Yes. You can find almost every Satellite in the Database. If a special one is not there you can edit the Database easily.

      Yes you can see the channels displaying, but not on this meter, but the your TV!! On this meter you can search all of the SATELLITES!

    Hi Steve, I have the same device but can't get the satlink to make the beeping sound to point and find the right way. Help. Trying to help my mother with her sky dish. Not sure what I am doing wrong. From london

      I do not have this satlink any more. I found the user manual for you: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0800/3263/files/USER_S__MANUAL_6980.pdf?7988055584276089553 just read it and you'll find the solution for your problem. Other wise you can hear ANY sound from this device when on other mode?

      Google it. You can ask someone to buy it for you in the US or Europe...

      @@tomreindl6602 I think it is already in the database. Just look 101W 110W 119W satellite data! If not included those data, you can edit the datafile very easy! I do not have my WS6906 any more.

      @@tomreindl6602 Sorry, the latest Direct TV Satellites are: 99W 101W 103W For HD reception you have to see ALL THREE Sats.

      Correct! You will be able to search Satellite for Dish or Direct TV or even some European Sat.

    if you do an instrument tutorial, you need to frame the instrument display. useless

      No way! You need a Dish network or Direct TV RECEIVER box also, if you want to watch Satellite TV.
