- In today’s spoiler-free movie review, I’m talking about the latest movie that released on May 2nd 2024 called: Tarot.
Tarot is a supernatural horror film written and directed by Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg (in their feature film directorial debut) and co-written by Nicholas Adams. It is based on a 1992 novel, Horrorscope, by Nicholas Adams. The film stars Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika Vandanapu, Wolfgang Novogratz, Humberly González, Larsen Thompson, and Jacob Batalon.

I think I will go check this out, be nice to see something that’s easier to watch something not as heavy the first omen and immaculate.

I love horror movies but I’ll probably wait Tarot comes on streaming even do I love some of the cast it just this Tarot stuff confuses me
Some people have had fun with this, which is cool and I wasn’t bored but wasn’t great
It was a little inaccurate, so don’t depend on it for facts.
Good review man, shame to hear this film is a letdown, it looks quite interesting from the trailer. I might check it out this weekend, not entirely sure but I'll share my thoughts if I do. But in the meantime, I recommend checking out my review of Monkey Man!

Well we’re a little bit off not by much but, I really can’t fault your negatives here. I agree with alot of what you said i guess I look at from the perspective of what it’s trying to do here. I can definitely point to the flaws though.
I know you enjoyed this one slightly more than me Ryan and definitely not one of the worst movies I’ve seen this year.
Just wish it offered more.

Just came home from seeing this, and ..... I kinda liked it 😂 Cast were kinda OK, thought the sound was good, creaky floorboards and OTT monsters and jump scares galore.
I dont like the genre, but this is my fave horror so far this year ... if a movie isn't going to be profound, and horror rarely is, just at least be fun and make me jump. On that basis, this worked for me

I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed this one, especially as we have different opinions on it.
I will admit there were elements I did like and I genuinely think The Fool was really creepy and that scene was great.
It just didn’t carry through the rest of the movie and I can understand about fun but yeah it’s a shame we disagree haha.
However I’m curious if people will like it
@@DidYouZThat I think expectation is everything maybe. I generally don't enjoy horror as a genre, but this one was just enough fun for me, with almost zero expectations going in. If I compare to to Abigail, these characters were better - hated the dumb muscle and the snidey driver in Abigail. I'd actually watch this again, but I can see it could have been so much more. I think I am in the minority in enjoying it tho haha
Yikes..... I still plan on seeing this this weekend, but not gonna lie going in with super low expectations now... Morning mike... Well at least for me lol

I don’t think utterly terrible. I’d watch this over many terrible horror movies I’ve seen before but unfortunately I can’t say rush out to cinemas to see it
Dang and this actually looked interesting. What has been the deal with horror movies lately? They’ve been really hit or miss (mostly miss). I’m not even the hugest fan of horror films and even I’m very frustrated by the lackluster films they’ve been dishing out 😭😭 great review brother

Yeah having anyone from expendables 4 attached is a immediate worry shame that this movie was a let down as the trailer did seem decent great review man

How it going today? I actually saw this movie. I thought the movie was very entertaining....at people making dumb decision. There is no way I am putting my hands or being in the facility of Tarot or Weege board. No freaking way. There a reason that door say do not enter or whatever it say. That what you get for not getting involved in something that is over their control.
Yeah I do not / wouldn’t not do tarot or ouija board either lol.
It was a fun enough movie, I wasn’t bored, the characters are dumb 😂
Huge fan of loads of the cast so am excited but everyone says it's bad

Hopefully dvd will have deleted scenes or unrated extended version
It wasn’t just my screen, I know some people in America also had the same issue.
I think in Dolby or imax if this movie is in that format where the screens are brighter, this would show better
@@DidYouZThat I did enjoy it was worried they would all die glad they didn’t but do wish they tried to help their friends more and was slightly brighter
I also liked how all the characters were nice most teen horror u normally get a not very nice person on it either bit of bully girl or a boy who just wants to kiss etc and don’t care about other stuff
Definitely sounds like a disappointment
Unfortunately wasted the potential it has!
