Over the years many people have doubted Stephen Curry, but time and time again he only continues to prove these people wrong. It began back before the 2009 NBA Draft where he was extremely underrated due to being undersized. But even around 2016 when he was running the NBA world Colin Cowherd got bold! Of course though around 2019 and onward it would get to be the worst it had ever been when it comes to people doubting him. Rob Parker, Skip Bayless, Nick Wright, Kendrick Perkins, and so many more. It was said that without Kevin Durant he would never win another NBA championship, and he used this as some extra motivation in 2022 as he loves to prove everyone wrong.

I always hated when people would say “he missed the last shot against the Raptors”, “he’s got to hit that”. Like bruh, its a moving fadeaway over 2 defenders, like how can you hold that against him. That’s just about the toughest shot possible.
moving to his right, almost a corner shot, its probably not a shot he even practices, running crosscourt fading away on a catch and shoot turnaround. and tbh I kinda thought he had it. What big shot in the finals that was made is tougher than that I can't recall.

I love this one from the haters: "If player X was allowed to put up 15 3's per game, he'd be better"... Like do they not see these games, do they not realize just how high the degree of difficulty is on these shots to be able to shoot that many? If Ray or Reggie tried to force up shots like Steph to get to 15, their percentages would plummet to the 20% range. Steph changed the definition of what a quality shot is, nobody else in history can shoot those shots and maintain a solid percentage.

In my opinion, he is a top 10 player all time. Doing what he does at his height hasn't been seen in a long time. Look back at history. Small guards have a hard time winning chips, but Steph has done it twice. Steph Curry is a bus driver and we all know it. GOAT shooter .
He's done it 4 times. Just because KD averaged better numbers in the Finals doesn't mean Curry wasn't also playing extremely well and leading the team as well.

many wide open shots.Just look at KD without Steph ,he still played with some of the best guards like Harden and Kyrie,but none of them provided the same support and space as Curry did.
Achievements wise Curry might not be the best ,but he is the best teammate I will pick in the Top 10.
His ability to switch between on and off-ball is just legendary,no other players can match that.
@@teal2913 Hell a large part of why GSW is so efficient is because Curry is a threat to score as soon as he's at the logo. There's like 3 players in the whole league where you need to have a guy stick on him as soon as he crosses half court and the other guys don't have the same efficiency Curry has.
I will say, he's tied with Magic imo for best PG of all time. Magic's assist efficiency is just untouchable especially in the playoffs. They're two very different players but each great in their own way.

Curry's trajectory changed drastically when Mark Jackson was fired. With Kerr, Curry bought in to ball movement and though he had great scoring games before, his scoring meant something now. Curry is a great player because he adjusted when there was no obvious reason to, but he believed in his team and knew they just had to figure it out.

Even though he has proved them all wrong I think he will be remembered more for his presence.. He made it possible for the masses to love the game.. I just know the day he retires will be the day the music dies for a lot of us.. I love the team don’t get me wrong but Steph changed the game for a lot of us.. Anyone can miss a shot but not everyone can make the game fun and exciting the way Steph and the Warriors have done.. It was fate for him and all those that shined to be in Golden State..
