- Join us for another quick adventure up north in Michigan's upper peninsula as we head up with high hopes only to discover that the deer have pretty much moved out of the area entirely. We still had a great time because it's deer camp. Enough said.....

No better times than deer camp! 👍
Good luck this season pal! Even if you don’t get nothing you still got to enjoy Gods creation and the wonderful sunrise and sunset! I pray for snow
Thanks for watching and your kind comment. Good luck this season 👍🏻
No deer but good memories. Priceless
For sure !! How many chords of wood do you have ready for this winter ? This will be your first winter at the new place ?
campbenny 😂😂😂 I haven’t started getting firewood yet! 😂 I just purchased a new wood stove a few days ago. Our cabin has a fuel oil burner in it with a 500 gallon drum outside. But I’m going to put the wood stove beside the fuel burner and share the chimney. Only gonna run one at a time. But need to have a backup. And yes first winter.
campbenny we are 6.5 miles back off the main road. Awesome wilderness out here! Quiet and peaceful! Nothing like living at deer camp!😆
Sounds like an awesome place man ! I have my woodburner at home plumbed into the furnace duct. Works fantastic! Sometimes I'll use my furnace fan to help move the air. At deer camp, I run one of those dual ecofans to help move some air. Works slick in that little 360 sq ft area. lol
campbenny it’s getting more awesome everyday. The complete off grid experience is a bit of a challenge to get used to but it is fun! Is that eco fan the one that turns when it gets hot? I am looking to get a couple of those. We’re in just under 900 square feet cabin.
No place else to be blessed with the great lakes in the streams of the rivers truly is a piece of heaven.
Great video! Muzzle loader is always tough. Never saw a deer in presquisle co. Still have a doe tag till 12/31. Great just being out there!! Thanks again.
Better luck next time boys. I always enjoy your videos so please keep making them.
Thanks buddy!
Deers went for beers and doughnuts, A! At least the snow wasn't up to the mirrors on the truck. Grab some pasties on the way home.
Right on !!
The serene trip back. We reminisce about the time with friends and family. A little bit of sadness....
The trip home is always rough for sure
Shooting a big buck that's just icing on the cake it's the memories that will last a lifetime
Right on !!
I love you guys and hope you guys keep putting together these wonderful videos is something that I can also pass on down to my children!
These trips where you don’t see much or harvest an animal, are the ones where you learn something that pays off big time later on.
You are so right Bobby!
Man that snow plow works like a champ ,, I got this figured out , you guys are serious about your deer hunting
the plow made the difference of a good weekend to a great weekend !
Thank you for sharing Benny!! I hope Chris has got his health back. I enjoyed the video. The sunsets and terrain were incredible. Hats off to you guys for toughing it out in the weather. It looked cold and I could hear the wind. We are all looking forward to a better 2020 Deer Season. Looking forward to more next season. Take care.
Thanks Gene ! Really appreciate it !
I love just watching the videos of how all use come together even though there's a lot of snow and not much dear but you still won't you're able to enjoy God's country witnessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets and also just to be blessed to live where you can enjoy the four seasons
It's a sad drive headed south across the Mighty Mack. No matter what season. Cant judge a hunt by what ya shoot, that's for sure. Great flick

100% !!! Thanks for watching !
Awesome footage, plenty of sits in cold that I’ve done nothing but enjoy the quiet.
Yup, it's part of hunting. That's just the way it goes sometimes.
Thanks for sharing. Great video regardless of what you shot!
Thanks for watching ! 👊
Wow Ben. Being from the Deep South it’s amazing watching you brave the elements and all that snow to pursue the sport you love. It inspires me to try a little harder to endure obstacles involved in the deer season experience. Thanks for sharing your good times !
Thanks for watching and encouragement. Good luck next season !!
campbenny our deer rifle season ends Feb 10, 2020. I’m hitting it hard and am blessed to have retired young
That's awesome ! Well...good luck this season !!. 😀
Great choice with the plow.
yeah, glad we finally wised up at least alittle. lol
sounds like they headed for the deer yards that much snow they will head, we stopped muzzleloading at are camp when we get that much snow, even during regular firearm season we get over 2 ft there gone. but it's deer camp no place i'd rather be great video as always
Right on ! Thanks for watching !
Sad to see your deer season come to an end. Mine ended the 30th of November cause of too much snow.
Sorry, the snow definitely can make it difficult. Good luck next season !
I can only hope someday to meet all of
where is your camp located in the up what town ect
Ben I'm in Northern Schoolcraft and unless its a weak winter we don't bother with muzzleloader deer in my area are gone by Dec 1st
Thanks. This is what we've found with our camp as well. The deer pack up and head out.
another great video! what county is this?
I enjoyed your video but, I was trying to get a look at your Blind. I am looking for some ideas to build one. Your blind looks like something I want to build. The video only shows a corner of the inside. You should do a video of your Blind!
Thanks for watching! That's a good point. I do wonder if some of my other videos might help ? For instance if you watch the 2019 part 3 u.p. gun hunt you will see us using the trap door and ladder to climb up and down.
@@campbenny Thanks for the reply. I'll take a look at it!
Beats calling a couple tow trucks 👍
yes, it sure does
Sorry it's my phone but I meant to say I hope someday I can meet all of you!
Right on buddy. Thanks for watching and your kind words !
