Why you should block your knitted items

Hey guys! I'm in the middle of knitting this beautiful jumper by Fiber Tales, and as I finished the front piece I noticed the need to block it before I can continue. I will need to make the back piece also (and block) until I sew the pieces together. I thought I would share a clip on how I usually block and show you why it can be needed in some cases. Take note that you do not have to block your items if you don't want to and that this is not the only way to block your items.
