Ren stated "Mold will Grow upon the Surface and Consumes til it dies, and Our Fate could be the same without this Story to the Wise" The more I hear from Ren the more I realize his Solution is to be a Teacher Opening the Eyes of Millions with his Art and his Heart! And I think Ren's message is Crystal Clear. Ambition and Passion Without Compassion Will Cause the World To Burn! But Ambition and Passion WITH Compassion Can Save It! His Compassion is Manifestly Obvious and If enough of Us actually LISTEN to his words, then Maybe, Just Maybe the Hunan Race may Survive!
I think we are too late for that, just a couple of years or a decade till we consume ourselves, but Ren has another massage: that there is still HOPE for us.

Totaly agree with you, and what I love the most about Ren is the fact that he is not puting himself in the center of it, he belive in us, each one of us have the power to change things at each one scale, we can make a difference. 🙂
Ren is an incredible performer and storyteller. He pulls you into it gradually. You actually feel as if you are physically there watching. Great performance.
Ren directs his own work in conjunction with the small team he has around him led by co-director Samuel Perry-Falvey and some of his close friends. Ren also wrote and arranged the music score for the piano and strings (apart from the opening piece that Ren played) There is only one cut in this production that occurs in the wheelchair transition, where they had to remove Ren's lapel mic from his suit jacket, waterproof it and place it in the knot of his tie ready for the water scene. Nice analysis. Thank you.

OMG I've watched countless reactions to Ren and you're the only one (maybe one other) to mention his accent coming through which I've from the first really enjoyed. It adds to his uniqueness in a powerful way and is super refreshing to my American ears. Also you mention the ambient sound of the glass bottle dropping to the floor which no one else I've seen talked about. Another powerful storytelling detail. His videographer talked about it in an interview...really fascinating. Check out the wonderful documentary on this shoot: .

That was Ren playing the piano in the beginning until Charlie sat down to take his place. He played piano in "For Joe" as well. The behind the scenes videos show Ren is practicing that piece so it would be flawless when he shot this live.

This is a part of a great trilogy, your reaction to it and analysis was on point - don’t apologise for pausing, as long as you have a link to the original recording in the titles then people can go watch it without pausing. I know how emotional you got in this, it’s nothing unusual for anything Ren!

He deserves a Grammy for this. The story telling was better than most movies released today.
I'm both surprised and not surprised it went to black at the end. Surprised because Ren follows through on most things but not surprised because he seems to be pretty sensitive and would know how it could impact a lot of viewers if he actually put the headshot in.

To see another side of Ren, check out his busking band The Big Push, covering I Shot the Sherriff/Zion/Hip Hop. There's even a deeper part to it, Ren mentioned that he surgically cut out the snare drum to enhance it for this performance video. Ren writes lyrics, sings, raps, produces beats, plays instruments and mixes and masters too, while dealing with health issues.

I don't think you ever watched Money Game pt. 1 and pt. 2 (lyric video), but Jimmy's (or James', or maybe Screech's?) life in Money Game pt. 3 included all the parts of the chorus from the first two, they are both exceptional, and well worth the watch.

I don't hate pausing. As a reaction addict I hate when reactors let the whole song play through completely (especially for Ren performances which are often longer than most songs). It's so much more enjoyable to watch an actual reaction talking about things he/she notices, imo. Also with the quick rewind which you got mastered

Nice reaction. This is my favorite Ren song of all time. Unfortunately though, I'm a bit "disappointed" with the version that's on the new album. Since this video was of course the first time I heard this song. So many small parts aren't in that part. The opening vocals are slightly different. The piano is less dramatic at that same part where on the video, the name of the song comes on the screen. Other small parts. Obviously I still play it on the album over and over again. I just wish it matched THIS one exactly. LOL

FYI, you don't need to pause for the sake of copyright with Ren videos. Ren supports reactors. You can still pause if you need to say something, but just know you don't have to pause to avoid issues with copyright.

Yep, it's the CZcams automated process that generates claims, not Ren's tiny team -- use the "dispute" (not "appeal") process and they'll release the claim.
You'd be better off over reacting than saying too much. You loose impact when you do have really great analysis.
