I love how at first you don't realize that the characters can also hear the music. And then they ask "...What's that sound?" and you go "OH." Expert use of soundtrack in storytelling.
This got real immediately after the lights went out on the machine underwater. I was so blindsided by this scene. I was on the edge of my seat after this scene for the rest of the movie. Absolutely perfect scene. The white bravado that turned into hopeless fear was amazing. Not trying to sound racist, but we all know the elephant in the room.
Talokans. Kings and Queens of the water, you just know you aren’t surviving. Also love how the soldiers immediately think the wakandans because of the vibranium, how wrong they were. I love the Mayan culture inspirations, shame since Namor Kills Rwanda that there’s basically no chance we’ll see them help out on anything else. Also we know it’s not the Wakandans, and despite the trailers spoiling this, we’re in suspense waiting for these “water people” to strike, I think the bit that got me is when they jump out of the water and he throws the spear what a build up, terrible movie overall, but cool buildup
This scene was really good, though i gotta respectfully disagree in that i had a pretty great time with this movie 😂 definitely not the best of the new phase but not nearly as bad as some others
I love this scene it shows the tension and the fact it's not safe on land on water or air
when the talokans arrived it turned to a horror movie💀
I really wanna see an A24 aquatic horror movie

i like how she shoots at the only parts that are covered with armor
2:32
Such an open shot to the chest and stomach and she aimed for the armour. 🙃
The Divers are a reference to the original Namor appearance

Why’re “Aztec” Mermaids🧜♀️, singing… isn’t that primarily a Greek and Roman trait?
The water siren is a tale told by many different cultures and different parts of the world
