We were told as kids you eat what you’re given or you starve. We never complained about meals. We were constantly reminded of the starving people in the world if we did and we wouldn’t get dessert either.

I just saw my Jamaican mom here, only I don't ever complain. I use to just pick around my food and she would get me some tomato paste...that would help me eat more of it. 😂❤

African parents always relate anything bad that's happening to you to your phone or tv. You can tell an african parent that you are depressed and they will always blame your phone, its sad, but funny if you are not actually depressed or you misdiagnosed yourself😂😂 but nit always funny if you are truly depressed
