that is crazy, thank God for sure, glad you're ok, knew someone that passed away recently (non car related) but it brings some perspective back, I also do the same and leave some space in front for random situations like these

Definitely was appreciative the whole day to say the least. Yea it seems like the lines can end up twisting and just rub to the point of rupture or if they're not bolted up, that'll do it too. Best believe that checking the brake lines is on my checklist now.

Had my brakes fail as well a few weeks ago both front brake calipers gave up at the same time luckily I did not drive the moment they had 0 pressure
