Hi Chris, Did you ask the obvious question? As to why Sony hasn’t come up with Firmware Updates as JVC? A truly nice projector but it’s not staying up with JVC. Especially, for the price the consumers are paying for in today’s economy. Thanks for your CZcams content as well too 😊
Wanted to upgrade to a Sony laser but they completely missed the mark by not including HDMI 2.1. I mean seriously, Sony has the PS5 and they didn’t make a projector that works with their own PS5?! I’ve considered the LS12000 but decided to wait. Hopefully they’ll make a refreshed version with 2.1
I went through three different models this projector the sad truth is these are not really 4K projectors the lens is not capable of displaying horizontal vertical 4K lines across the screen you can get left side right side up down in InFocus but not all at once it's a nice-looking picture when watching movies but if you're into test patterns PC gaming this 5000 is not for you needs better lens i went through 3
