I love the mix of polished steel with the darker chemical enhancement, and the unibody construction will make it brutally strong.
We teach knifemaking to disabled vets and make knives for the Special Forces Group headquartered down the road. A design like this would be utterly ideal for them. Right now we are making a Fairbairn-Sykes-pattern blade, but this would be even stronger.
How comfortable is the blade in the hand?

Excellent and beautiful. I was hoping to see a technique to remove the inside of your square pommel without drilling and filing . . . guess sometimes there's no getting around needing to do it the traditional way. Sigh.
yeah... patience is what you need for this when you only have some basic tools, that's why i'm always looking for some excuses not to make it myself
