I have some questions:
1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.

Thank you so much for this video, almost all the question were exactly they asked me on my last interview, I failed the process because my English skills weren't enough for the position, I have been studying English last two months (March, April 2021) and They allow me to do a new interview on June, I hope to be good prepare for the new interview and get the job!

The question "your biggest weakness", for me it was my English skill, I wasn't using English before my last job, I can only use some simple sentences like "nice to meet you" or "hi glad to see you", and I cannot understand what are others talking about, someday an India guy told me that we have a meeting in 5 minutes, that was my first time talking in an English envrionment, I'm very grateful to that guy, I can work in an English envrioment now, it was a very interesting experience for me 🤣
Perfect video for practice and to think about interview questions in English! I'm from Sweden, the interview questions are always more or less the same but it's very useful to practice on how to respond in English. Thank you Alisha for adding depth to why the questions are asked and what kind of response the interviewer probably is expecting. I've had a first interview in Swedish for a global company with a new research and development department located in Sweden: The main office is located in Nashville, USA and I will have another interview in English with the CTO for research and development coming up soon.//BR Michael
