My god,I just got into collecting jerseys and the difference between old Adidas swingman's and current Nike swingmangs is night and day. Adidas did such a better job and you got a much better jersey for the same price ?
just my opinions~ we paid quite an amount for swingman, its lighter and sleeker yes but the quality of it wasn't there like the old one, the old one i could throw into my washing machine with no doubt, but knowing he newer version is using heat transfer printing,just like soccer jersey too, long term machine wash will eventually make the printing come off~ so might as well just buy the replica~
That's a huge difference!! Wow, just the inconsistency in the sizing alone would drive me mad. What a horrible job by Adidas, I'm so glad I have a 2010 version.

The authentics are basically the jerseys worn in actual nba games The swingman is similar but the mesh material is slightly different, the numbers, letters and logo are made from a cheaper material Usually the swingman looks and feels enough like the real thing for most people

I didn't realise they'd changed, I bought a Knicks Swingman jersey from the nba online store and was really shocked and disappointed with the poor quality of the new ones. They're hardly any better than the replica ones now. The detailing looks like it would peel off in the wash. Such a shame adidas have downgraded the quality of the product so much yet still expect people to pay the same amount for them

I'm also a jersey collector, but I tend to stay with NHL jerseys. I've been thinking about getting into NBA jerseys but I don't know what I'm doing.
Let's face it......the rev 30 swingman is still better in quality than the heat transferred crap their selling now.

So would you say that a Rev 30 small would fit like a medium swingman of 2015?
pretty much. The rev 30 small is just slightly longer than a medium new swingman

They're pretty much the same. The rev 30 is longer of course, so the chest is slightly wider to accommodate for the difference
