    Slowly I'm falling more in love with you
    Slowly you're winning a heart that can be true
    Now, I can't hide my feelings, no matter what I do
    For slowly I'm falling more in love with you
    More and more I need you and want you by my side
    More and more I love you as each day passes by
    My heart, I know you're stealing, I hope that you'll be true
    For slowly I'm falling more in love with you
    Slowly I'm falling more in love with you
    Slowly you're winning a heart that can be true
    Now, I can't hide my feelings no matter what I do
    For slowly I'm falling more in love with you

    One of the most hypnotic songs that I have ever heard...I mean this in a good way The opening steel lick is haunting and beautiful!

    Bud Isaacs played the Steele Guitar. This song was #1 in the country charts longer than any other. Bud Invented the Pedal Steel Guitar. He lived 4 blocks from my home. His nephew and I play music together and very few people in this town outside of me and his nephew knows about his invention. He used 3 door hinges for the pedals and bailing wire for the rods to pull the strings. On the next recording he added 3 more pedals. Bud is still alive (in his 90's) and living out west. He also did an album with Chet Atkins.

      A question please...Is Bud Isaacs the same as in Show Bud pedal steel guitars? (brand)

    • @beemerscoot8851
      @beemerscoot8851 Před 2 lety

      @@turbines123 Sho-Bud was a collaboration between Shot Jackson and Buddy Emmons. Bud Isaacs is still well known in the circle of steel guitar fans as being the man that created the E to A chord change using a pedal to bend the strings. That change still dominates the sound of pedal steel guitar to this day.

      Cool!. Bud was my great Uncle, my Grandma's brother. My Dad is Jim Miller. Maybe you know my cousins the Reynolds clan too. You probably heard by now that Bud passed away back in 2016.

    One of the finest songs in classic country music. Nothing like it today. One of Webb's best, and Bud Issac introducing the pedal steel changed country. It was written by Tommy Hill, Goldie Hill's brother.
