I actually believe in some psychics, but this is just bad. So many misses. What's worse is that you can clearly see the cold reading techniques if you're looking. He makes blatant mistakes and it quick to move past them.

He spends a lot of his own time away from his family to actually teach people . They also have their own intuition to think differently with prejudice . And that amount doesn’t all go just to hi. He has staff which he pays a decent wage to . I think he’s awesome and so does his parents . 🕊😇

I used to be a skeptic but John is the only one who has made me a believer, he talks about things with people that he just couldn't know about them. I watched once where he was giving someone a piece of information and they kept disagreeing and saying he was wrong. they contacted the show later to say that having spoken to other family members it turned out that what he was saying was correct. I really like the guy.

I had bought tickets for my mom and I (her only son) to go to a John Edward reading because her husband (my stepfather) had died in a drowning accident a couple years before, but the appearance was cancelled. Shortly thereafter I had an ADC "dream" from HIM who BTW was a complete asshole to ME in life... I really hated this guy... and yet when he entered the "dream" from a lit up doorway I ran up to him and jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs around him because HE appeared SO HAPPY that I just couldn't help myself. A lot of stuff was said and conveyed in this "dream", and let me just say... this was the most hyperreal dream I have ever had, and to this day you cannot convince me that it didn't actually happen. I am now 50. I was in my 20's when he died.

To all the naysayers, I got a (17 minute) free reading, out of thousands of people who were live with him online. I was allowed one question, any question, and mine had absolutely nothing to do with people who had passed. It had more to do with me. Quite frankly, I really wasn't interested in that part and thought we'd be done. After he answered my question, he focused on "my people". Said there were two father figures that had passed (yep). He flat-out said, "Who's George"? That was my FIL who we lost five years ago, and I truly considered a father figure. There was NO "Who has the G name", or any other vague this-or-that.
They did not have my last name. I didn't fill anything out. I didn't even speak/chat with anyone until John and I linked together online. He didn't ask me any questions (in regard to the two fathers), other than "Who's George??".
So, for those of you that don't believe in his abilities, or anyone else's, quit watching, quit bad-mouthing, and move on!

23 years ago my brother was killed in a car crash. Shortly after that I was home watching John's show, my mom at her house and my aunt at hers, all watching the show. John was walking around the studio giving readings when he stops and says..... okay, this is for the tv audience not here at the studio. John says..... okay, this man won't shut up. I don't understand this but he said you'll understand. He's showing me a picture of a traffic light nailed outside on a garage with a woman standing behind it. He said to you that he's okay and he's happy and he's with his brothers.
Well my brother worked in the traffic division designing components for the traffic lights here on the gulf. After a partial hurricane he was able to take some of the lights that needed replacing. He rewired the lights and gave them to some of us. Steve gifted one to my mom that she had her husband nail out on the outside of their garage.
It was confirmation to all of us that he was okay. What an amazing experience and so thankful that we all wanted it.

Just I've saw true mediums where they've got everything correct (including favourite perfume, what they wore etc). I do paranormal investigating and had personal experiences of my own, but this is just cold reading and taking advantage of those in moaning. I would never charge anyone for helping them out or passing a message on.

I enjoy watching John but these women...good grief! They extrapolate beyond any reasonable range and swear that they've made a contact with someone from the "other side". It seems to me that if spirits from the other side were actually being contacted that JE would not have to ask so many leading questions and that the answers from the audience would match without any slip ups or even slight hesitations. Either you know it, or you don't so don't waste time trying to make it fit. I'd probably trust the results of a Ouija Board before I'd fall back upon anything that passes between these folks as being genuine contacts with a spirit, particularly that of a deceased loved one.

John Edward was debunked a long time ago. He's basically playing the same game as Sylvie Browne, Theresa Caputo and others. It's amazing that so many people keep falling for this crap.
Pay attention folks. Fill an audience with scores or hundreds of people who are already predisposed to believing and are eager to see John succeed - otherwise they wouldn't be there. So these people will (consciously or subconsciously) help him along even when he may struggle a bit. But even if the people weren't there specifically for John, statististics still apply. And 99.9% of people in a large crowd have a deceased relative. Of those, perhaps 50% will have deceased relatives whose names start with very common letters like 'J' or 'M' or 'S'. Of those, perhaps 60% will have succumbed to chest/heart/lung issues, which are, again, very common. Of those, perhaps 50% will find some meaning in the color red, or the number 4, or "down by the water." John will proceed in this manner whittling the audience down to one or two people who are the natural results of this "question and answer filter." That's all it is. Cold Reading, asking a LOT of questions, and taking high-probability guesses. People will remember the few hits and forget the MANY misses. Furthermore, you would think that a real psychic wouldn't have to ask ANY questions at all!
For decades the JREF Foundation offered a $1 million prize to anyone who could demonstrate paranormal ability. The prize was never claimed, despite the attempts of many eager "psychics." That oughta tell you something.

Because this kind of stuff can cause real harm. Look at Amanda Berry's mother who was devastated when Sylvia Browne told her that her daughter was dead on national TV - but she wasn't and she escaped years later from the kidnapper. Her mother died a year later, heart broken after giving up all hope of finding her daughter.
Then there are the people that see the carefully curated versions of readings from other psychics on CZcams (not like this one - kudos to Edward for allowing this to be broadcast) and save up money they can't afford to pay for a costly reading. If you check out the psychic review pages you see a lot of people complaining how disappointed they were with the psychic they saw and how they really couldn't afford to spend that much, but did so in the hope of hearing from their relative.
Extraordinary claims need to be challenged. (based on Karl Sagan's quote).
And most importantly, famous psychic performers will usually not provide specific answers (Sylvia Browne and The Psychic Twins may have taught them this). As Edward and Matt Fraser tell us, their job is to tell us that our loved ones are always with us and love us. That is the message they provide. All the other stuff they say (which in my opinion is usually repeated back information from the sitter or broad sweeping statements) is to provide validation they are communicating with the dead. Hopefully I've saved you some money.

Saw him at a book reading(1st book) a million years ago. He got my dead person's initials and her basic life issues...he couldn't have known. When he signed the book and we talked I realized he has the most unique eye color. Almost golden, at that time. I'm almost positive that I'm remembering it accurately. He has a great vibe. I started the reading very suspicious of him. I hate to admit it was party because he had a strong east coast accent, back then.
