Some people definitely have the gift. I was a skeptic myself but about 20 years ago a friend and me went to someone´s apartment to buy a stereo. There was a girl kind of studying us at the kitchen table. The first thing she said to me was ´´give me your keys.¨´ Her boyfriend told us she was a psychic so I complied. She then told me things about myself that she couldn´t possibly know. The most striking is when she blurted out ´´What is with you driving a red car all the way to Vancouver and listening to nothing but the Eagles.¨´ About 15 years prior to this meeting I did just that. I drove my red jeep across country to the city of vancouver and my radio was broken. I had one cassette tape and it was The Eagles. That story wasn´t even significant to tell anyone about. Was a firm believer from that time forward.
Once about five years ago I went to a clairvoyant, and he shocked me by telling me bad news instead of good news to placate me: he told me I was going to get mugged that night. Later that night while driving home, he carjacked me. It's exactly like he predicted!

We got our seats, the lights went down & John Edward came out to thunderous applause, and as thay died down he walked forward, & suddenly looked up to his right & stepped back, then said " a horse just walked out on stage and was coming over to me, that's the first time that's ever happened"

No, he isn't, he preying on the sadness and despair of innocent people for profit and gain, he's a despicable man who should be ashamed of himself - In this video for example he has an audience of people who have likely been vetted before hand, all anyone needs is your name and a location and thanks to social media and online information they can do a ton of background research on everyone in the audience. Even disregarding that he's just using common cold-reading and manipulation tactics to pry information out of people:
He begins by asking if anyone had "a brain tumour, brain aneurism or a cerebral haemorrhage?" - this is important because, whilst brain tumours are rare, brain aneurisms and cerebral haemorrhaging, whilst they "sound" like serious and rare illnesses, are not nearly as rare as the first illness he gave, but it gives the false impression that they are since he has so casually lumped them in, they don't even cause similar symptoms most of the time, but the average person isn't going to know that and are just going to make the simple association of them being illnesses tied to the brain.
He then asks "where is the J in the family", "J" is one of the most common letters for names to start with in English (and he just says "where is the J", it doesn't need to be the first letter of a first name, it could be the first letter of a middle name, or surname, or any letter in any name), if you think through your family you are almost certainly going to think of someone with the letter "J" at the start of their name, either a james, a joseph or a john, these are some of the single most common names in America. After he asked this the woman is the one who said "Jacob, my grandson", in this instance she has given him several pieces of information that he didn't have before that he can then use to continue on with his cold reading, the name "jacob", and that she has a grandson who was old enough to have a relationship with his grandfather, meaning he is at a certain minimum age threshold which puts her at quite an elderly age, possibly older than she looks.
He then asked "is there someone about ready to get a new car? Or ready to do something new with their vehicle?" - Almost every family has a car, and given that she has a grandson she must have a reasonable size family, so it is likely that someone in the family is doing *something* with a car, which could be anything from "get the car fixed" to "get some minor repairs" to "buy a new car", there are tons of possibilities that question leaves.
He then eventually asks "are you diabetic, or are you taking..." - This is similar to the first question but *appears* to be less open ended, is much more direct and seemingly personal; however this is not the case as it is extraordinarily likely she is just due to her age; according to the CDC, the rates of diagnosed diabetes in the U.S for those aged 65 and older was 25% in 2015, this is huge in a country the size of the U.S, and that's just diagnosed diabetes, and not prediabetes or undiagnosed diabetes, he is just using the fact that he knows she is old, likely older than she looks, to his advantage; it is also worth noting he was going to say something after asking her whether she was diabetic but she cut him off, she is the one feeding him all the information he needs to swindle people.
This is just a small sample of how you can systematically break down everything this scumbag is doing over the course of the interview to prey on people and dismantle it completely.

The level of accuracy this guy has as a Medium, is the only kind ppl should pay to see. Mediums this good are out there. You just need to find them, or ask spirit to lead you to them.
"I was on the John Edward show. He even had a multiple guess "hit" on me that was featured on the show. However, it was edited so that my answer to another question was edited in after one of his questions. In other words, his question and my answer were deliberately mismatched. Only a fraction of what went on in the studio was actually seen in the final 30 minute show. He was wrong about a lot and was very aggressive when somebody failed to acknowledge something he said. Also, his "production assistants" were always around while we waited to get into the studio. They told us to keep very quiet, and they overheard a lot. I think that the whole place is bugged somehow. Also, once in the studio we had to wait around for almost two hours before the show began. Throughout that time everybody was talking about what dead relative of theirs might pop up. Remember that all this occurred under microphones and with cameras already set up. My guess is that he was backstage listening and looking at us all and noting certain readings. When he finally appeared, he looked at the audience as if he were trying to spot people he recognized. He also had ringers in the audience. I can tell because about fifteen people arrived in a chartered van, and once inside they did not sit together."

So I have to defend John. At the very least he can read people’s minds. He chose me for reading out of about 3000 people years ago in Pittsburgh. I didn’t give him anything and he did not overhear any conversations because we didn’t discuss where we were going even in the car ride there as it was a surprise for my mother. When we arrived at the venue we were late and running to get into the auditorium before they closed the doors. He had already started when we walked in and so we did not speak about anything but was listening to his readings with everyone else. He was wrapping up the show and then suddenly called on me and the information that he brought through was so on the head I had my knees pressed together because they were shaking so badly. I had no preconceived notion‘s about even getting a reading but was very pleased that my friend came through. He described her personality to a T and went on to discuss her car accident which only a few people knew details of. He described the accident and other things that only the two of us knew. Honestly I had forgotten a couple of things but his reading reminded me. Again there was no way he or anyone that worked for him could’ve known any of the information that came through. I did not give him details but only Gave him yes or no responses. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I know a lot of people don’t believe in him but there is no way my reading was fraudulent.

I remember sitting in the staff room one day at work and decided to try doing this. I did a "reading" on a co-worker (that was complete BS) and the worker was shocked how accurate it was. The trick it so be super broad in your questions (and ask a lot of them) and then throw out a few **shockers** for instance I told her that her loved one wanted her to remember the "chair" which was an idea I pulled out if thin air... she totally read into it because and told me there was a special chair she and her loved one had a special connection about. I,of course, told her after that it was completely bogus and how I did it.

I once went to a Spiritual church in a new city, new country. No one knew me and I went alone. The Minister came to me afterwards and told me he had a young man that was bugging him to speak to me...and could I come back the next week as he was in a hurry to drive 3 hrs to his home. I said I would. About 2 minutes later he came back, said he would be bugged his whole trip home if he didn't take just 5 minutes with me.
His first thing he said was he was being shown a picture of a mangled motorbike by a young teenage boy....I nearly collapsed, I burst into tears. My sweet brother was killed on a bike accident head-on. This meeting sent me on a pathway, a very spiritual one. Once those connections are made with the other side, it's unbelievable ! a genuine medium told me years ago , that a true medium knows exactly who they want to speak to with a message , and never ask around a room if anyone can relate to name, house , city , etc. any so called medium who does this , is not a true medium but a charleten. if they are truly genuine, then they will go straight to the person who the message is for

My Aunt Cathy was picked to have a reading from him, I don't even know how many people where there. But my cousin drowned on his road I think racing a friend. And his father passed away when he was only a baby 👶😢💔😔 My Aunt has since moved out of her house and sold it. Derek (only child passed away & his father would be the 1st one to pass ) would turn his TV on in his room. I was a skeptic at first but when I went to see a medium, it changed my life. You should try it before you judge.

I have met with mediums numerous times and they always tell me this - "That's not the way it works". So they always have parameters and conditions around how they can perform. If spirits exist, there are billions of them and there's only one way to know if a medium is talking to your person. But they don't want to do it your way. I have a psychic challenge that I've presented to dozens and they either fail or refuse.

Erick Tippett- I reckon it was probably just one off coincidence. I'm a skeptic and the evidence leads me to believe that mediumship is bullshit. However, If there were repeat patterns of specific names coming together like this time and time again, then it would be interesting. Also, were there other names being thrown around during the show between these significant three names? It's possible that these were only three of many, but you remembered these three because of their significance.

I haven’t seen any psychic or mediumship demonstration that requires any sort of supernatural explanation. I have seen nothing that can’t be explained by coincidence, human psychology, the Barnum effect (Goggle it if you don’t know what that is) and other cold reading techniques.
