My top guess is Hamilton, as saddlebreds are very commonly used in driving, yet the Hamilton mold hasn't been used.

even though it's a little old, I think it will be a Huckleberry Bey: the Word "StageCoach" has got me there because it felt elegant to me🤣🤣I do foresee Goffert, too
I almost had Huckleberry in my honorable mentions! I think his mold pose would fit the theme nicely!

I love how you take such time to breakdown and pick your best estimated guess! I think goffert is a great guess for the surprise model! My top few models for guesses are the cantering warmblood, Vermeer and Hamilton also! I always look forward to watching these videos!!
One time I ran into you at breyerfest you were shooting the horses in the arena outside area and I was to scared to say hello
I was so comfortable in my assumption that the surprise was going to be Hamilton that I only bought one ticket…you’ve made me question everything now
Exciting predictions! I’m still convinced that Strapless will be the Surprise Horse this year, however. Although her gait is similar to that of the Cleveland Bay mold, she’s a lighter breed, and her type and gait fit the theme superbly. She strikes me as the perfect candidate for a surprise horse, and if she doesn’t make the cut this year, I strongly believe she will sometime in the future.
Goffert is a good guess too since his mold fits the theme. He’d look great in a wide variety of colors!
I've been hoping for Bluegrass Bandit for YEARS so I'm still hoping for her this year! Also I'd love to see that Old Timer rant lol, I've been so annoyed with everyone begging for and Old Timer surprise 😂

Had a question actually, could it still be Cantering Warmblood [True North] if he's been used as the Holiday Horse this year? Or does that not impact Surprise Horse mold at all? 🤔

Goffert was actually my #1 thought going into this video so hearing your thoughts were quite interesting. I don't think he'd be my favorite but I think it's very likely. And he would be super pretty in clearware!

Regarding Dundee's use in 2021 and being so young - note that this is the only BreyerFest that was virtual only and planned that way from the start. They knew there would be no crowds of people trying to get their hands on them at the Park. Since they went back to an "older modern" mold with CB in 2022, that does lead me to think that my theory of Breyer holding off on "super hot" molds for the purpose of keeping calmer crowds makes sense.
Also - thank you for mentioning Hamilton's gait issue! We know that Breyer has been trying to do better research on finer details for these events, so while I think this is something that could have been overlooked years ago, it seems less likely to be missed now. (Also, I personally think Hammy would make an excellent 2024 Surprise - BreyerFest's next big anniversary, his 5th birthday. And I'll hopefully have a better chance to be able to afford 8-10 of them or however many there are 😂)
The ASB Stallion was used as a portrait of a Dutch Harness Horse in the past as well, which gives him additional points for me.
I do really like True North as an option! I'm fairly certain I've seen people use him in harness classes before. I agree that his level of popularity feels pretty stable and the mold has a wide appeal. Plus, not a pattern exactly but I noted that CB was used as the Surprise just a couple years after Oliver as the celebration horse, and Dani was the celebration in 2021...not the exact same amount of time, but that would be interesting nonetheless.
Goffert or the ASB Stallion would also match the loose pattern of a Moody mold as the Surprise every few years.
That is an excellent point about Dundee for 2021 and makes complete sense! I hadn't thought of that before! Definitely a lot of good reasons that those different molds might be used, and I agree that I think it's more likely that we will see Hamilton as the surprise another year. Can you imagine the chaos if they throw in a rare 1 of 35 variation for each of the special run models next year if Hamilton is the surprise (or even just an SR)? There would be bloodshed 🤣
Kinda doubt it'll be True North since that one's already been revealed as this year's Holiday horse, which very possibly could be available for purchase at Breyerfest. I'm going with either the Standing Saddlebred Stallion or Goffert!

Since Ponies and Palm Trees was technically last year I don't think it would rule her out.

I will be attending BreyerFest for the first time ever this year!! I’m very excited, but I was wondering, will Breyer release the mold before BreyerFest or will I have to wait until I get there to know?? I would like to know so that a can plan how much money I will need to bring.
The surprise model won't be revealed until the Friday morning of BreyerFest. So far they have never revealed it before then. Usually it is first found out by the first people to open the surprise. Breyer also usually puts them on display in the covered arena if they have a set up for sale in the silent auction.

Looks like they last used him in 2015-2016. Considering he's not very popular (or even that well known I'd say) I don't think they'd use him, but he does fit the theme!

I finally had time to look at them and I was literally screaming in joy when I saw the donkey(I can’t remember the mold) and the Othello
The horse @20:07 what coat color is that? It looks like a spotted palomino but I'm not sure. I'd like to try and search for one but without the color variant I doubt I'd get very far with finding it.
It is a dapple sooty palomino. His name is Seurat and he was a BreyerFest 2021 Special Run.

@jerricho11 I recommend checking out places like model horse sales Groups on FaceBook, the site Model Horse Sales Pages, and Mercari. You might have to just be patient and keep checking, but I bet will come up for sale sooner or later! If you are on Facebook you could put out and In Search of Ad in the sales groups too.
@@StormyStrikeVideos Thank you so much, one last question. I have managed to actually find some but they are all 270 or above. Should I wait till I can find something for less or is it just going to be more expensive from here, so I should just buy one now? Also, I do not want the high gloss version, would that give me a better chance of finding one for under 100$?

@jerricho11 I think the matte one is less popular than the glossy version, so I think you'd have a better chance at finding that one for cheaper! It's hard to say if he will go down a lot in price or not (I'm honestly surprised he's so hard to find right now!) I find that patience is often rewarded though if you wait for one to come up for sale in your price range.

Yes! I would no longer consider him really a possibility now. I will do an updated video or post before BreyerFest that will have him taken off the top 10.
