Remy is the most polite guy ever. It's like he is actually Canadian!
It's almost like he's a French Canadian...wait no that's not right, you said polite.
ahah
Facts when the kid stopped right in front of him he was so calm about it love to see it man. Great rider and even better human.
'Well Jackson, if you try to kill me we can't be friends anymore' Hilarious!
Remy: i cant manual anymore...
Also Remy: Manuals the whole bridge....!!!
Awesome to see a bloke with so much skill who also has humility and such a positive and friendly attitude to trail users of all skill levels. Remy should be recommended as a role model to young riders 👍👍
Thank you!
It was so cool to meet you there! (Also if you where wondering why ian didn't hit the lilypad gap it's because his chain got stuck in his derailleur)
Yes! He told me. Ian is sendy!
@@remymetailler i'm kind of regretting not walking up to hit the hip, then i would be in here too!
I'm physically unable to even run for very long due to being bedridden for 3 years with lymes disease. I have a lot of physical catching up to do! Thank you for the motivation to start a fast walk every day :)
I used to street skate, and I was pretty good at it! I miss doing stuff like this. Maybe biking will be my next avenue. Alhamdulillah, thank you once again.
Good luck man. Lime is gnarly.
Haytham find something to bring you joy or excitement. I usually say we all have a story. I crashed on the motorcycle track going at high speed. Got life flighted off the track with many permanent injuries. It has been a long 6 years of slow and steady progression. Some days are worse than others. I can't do many things I used to do but mountain biking has been and is something I really enjoy doing. Watching Remy's videos motivates me to go out and ride. Some days it will take me 2 hours just to get everything ready. It's only until I actually get to the trail head I'm glad I did. Just do it no matter how long it takes to get out the door.
@@justsayin3600 Mashallah, may Allah ﷻ grant you real love for life and everything in it hence love for Him, the Source of love!
Long before bike parks skinnies were a mainstay on the North Shore in the 90s, many were stupid high too (20 ft). They were built to make riding over bogs interesting.
Just love the videos. When there are so much things all around with the pandemic that brings saddness, your videos are a feast to the soul buddy! Thank you for doing what you do best!
Thank you! Keep living while being responsible and smart during the pandemic.
@@remymetailler sure will buddy😁
Wow... super fun to watch, as always.
Usually I skip at least 50% of videos that are longer than 7-8 minutes but you always find the exact mixture of riding and talking. It never gets boring.
Remy, in every video we can hear „opening the corner here“ would be super nice if you could do a cornering video. Explaining when and where to open corners. When does it make sense.
Thanks a lot! Yes I'm going to work on one!
Rémy very welcome.
That’d be super cool!
Honestly, to me, best mtb content on CZcams! Superb riding, very good cut, not too much explanation, keep it like that.
Rubber side down!
you should change your channel name to: king of super steezy scrubs.
You're one of my favorite riders to watch man, so much style and speed, awesome!
Really enjoy your filming / editing style, very watchable. Always great riding too!
Another awesome video, love the positivity and enthusiasm when you ride. Would be a blast to ride with you!
you are one of my favourite youtubers
keep it up man
SEND IT
One of my all time favourites! So sick boys!!
Awesome video Remy, you must be a expert on the skinnies now!
I would love to see you ride more with Jackson, you and him have to be the best duo.
Awesome video Remy! So good to see you posting again! The riding looked awesome!
Oh come on I on'ly was 4 days late ahah
Super vidéo! Vivement la suite! En tout cas Jackson Goldstone a un niveau de fou!!!
The speed you're going compared to bcpov is jokessssss
That~s whz he is a paid pro competing at Red Bull Rampage.
Awesome trails incredible riding.
10' step down to tight corner to a gap jump....no problem. Sees a skinny and is "oh no!". 🤣🤣
Nice new Video.
On the Double black Trail did i say respect Remy that you Ride this. I think i hadn‘t a chance to Ride this completly.
Dig that blue Commencal, sweet riding too
Always a full watch with RM content! Your far to kind man, what a spot to pull a stoppie ....😲
I punched him in the face, but I did not want to put it in the video. I have to keep a clean image for the sponsors...
@@remymetailler 😂
I ride silver star every day (I think I saw you guys jumping the WC jumps under the lift) but this is the first time I’ve seen all of Walk the Line, never having the bravery to go into it myself. Love your videos!
That's why this video is for!
great vid bud! i missed this dh bike long time no see!
Silverstar is sooo much fun! Best flow trails about.
Next time you head east of Whist make sure to check out Panorama Bike Park!
Next year!
Awesome , so many beautifull Trails 🙂👍
Jackson can’t be Canadian, he didn’t say sorry 😂
i'm from ontario, my first taste of BC riding was at SilverStar and it was life changing lol
Sweet! There are very few videos of gnarly climbing on CZcams. Your camera crew did great work. That climb looks viciously steep.
Good idea on minimizing screen-time of that Grim Donut. Keep ‘em guessing.
Thanks for a really interesting comparison test. I look forward to a few episodes as you wrap it up.
I think you're on the wrong video...
Kiwi representing, good to see. Why are Brett's jumps always closed, we have a bike park here in NZ called Bike Glendhu and the first time I rode there I saw this mean line of jumps that were closed which I asked about, sure enough - pretty sure she said they were Brett Reeders 🙂, thanks for keeping up the great content it's been helping me through my injury.
The jumps are closed because they are big and people get hurt on it. During the pandemic they choose to close it to limit accidents.
@@remymetailler makes perfect sense Remy, Brett's jump line in NZ was pretty much closed because it's too big as well and not under the jurisdiction of the park. Looking forward to the rest of this series.
Would you ride that weird skinny? Such a unique feature! bit.ly/39xojyn
Very nice guys. Would love to get there.
I like watching the layout and trails at Silver Star. It looks like more of the trails I would ride if I made a trip to BC. I'm looking forward to the Remy's Canadian Bike Tour 2020! It's cool to see other parks instead of reading reviews and seeing pictures.
Thanks Bo! Will have more next year!
Good job Remy, I might try DH one day
Badass! I'm from Southern Ca, and it looks like I'm headed North for the summer.
11:08 thumbnail. Have a great day from the UK 🇬🇧
no one:
Remy: YEAHAHAHAHA
So many good riding options in BC interior, On the Island we just have Mount Washington, which is still mostly an old school mountain that hasn't mastered flow trails yet
Flow trails are very expensive...
100% but it's pure magic when they get done right, Some of those runs it doesn't even look like you need to touch your brakes. I think Mount Washington would sell a bunch more seasons passes if they had a good one or two. New owners are building new runs this year mostly enduro based I think but still a ton of fun
Great video !
Sick video Remy! I was wondering if u have eve thought about doing some trail previews on the north shore. I live at the base of Seymour and I’ve never seen footage of pros on my local trails, only content creators such as Jordan boast master and seths bike hacks. I think it would make for a gnarly video too!
It's on it's way! I will be filming soon!
Rémy Métailler sweet! Excited for that one.
Jackson has style for days.
He sure does!
So so good the best 🤙
Absolutely the best mtb channel! Makes my palms sweat.
Ur the man Remy!!
This video is amazing 👍
Awesome, one of my favorit CZcamsr
Jax rides like he could be the next Sem.
So sad there use to be a teter drop before that wall ride! We were riding it blind and had no idea it tetered so my friend trailing behind me got sent over the bars. RIP to the drop
Super fast! o_O
OUI CEST BON!
sick!
Remy i need your advice. I recently cracked my rim on my dh bike. Now i've ordered DT Swiss EX471 rim (the rim that is on Loic Bruni's bike). My only problem with this rim is that it has 25 mm inner width. I have no doubt that is strong but maybe i could've bought a wider rim so it will grip better. Do you think i've made a mistake?
You'll have more grip in corners with a 25 mm rim, what size are your tires? If they're over 2.5 you might want to switch the tire out for something closer to 2.4/2.5 although it's not really a big deal if it's 2.6 anything over that is definitely something you want to replace
Sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey Remy I saw some pictures of the new Cube Downhill BIke, when will you get the chance to ride it or have you already ?
That is a good question! No I have not had one yet.
Epic!
Hi Remy what setting do you use on your GoPro ? thank
What are those sunglasses? I guess they are from Julbo but i dont find those black/red ones :(
They are Julbo! The black and red are actually a women one... Noumea I believe.
@@remymetailler Yesss thanks alot. Was already wondering if that's really the case. They're nice!
Keep on that positivity and insane shredding - love it! :)
This man is a g
Are those Hayes Dominion A4's? Fantastic brakes I could only afford 1 for my front so far, Has a ton of power
Yes they are!
I think you're the first person I've seen with them on youtube.
Never opened a video so fast
when remy does skinny he laughs like dangerous dave
You’re da man👊
Extreme/sports is what we call extreme.
The viewer is interesting, but it is very dangerous from the standpoint of doing it.
I hope safety is always with you. ^O^
Great video! Love to see u guys go like that! Great enhousiasm :D
If you could just add some low volume music I promise to watch all your videos
Hey Remy, love your content, but why do you ignore the awesome riding in Vancouver?
Hey I do not! It is planned! Covid has made it hard and I had some projects to do first but I plan more riding in Vancouver and around!
16:34 ouhouu 😂
Comme quoi même Remy metailler peut tombé 🤕.
Nah, il ne tombe jamais! Ce n'était pas de sa faute... il n'avait pas l'air tres tres content d'ailleurs! haha
Remy what are ur GoPro settings ?
That guy sounds Australian 🇦🇺🇦🇺 you riding with on blue bike 🚲
Remy number one downhill rider ever
Does anyone know which Trek bike is Jackson riding??
Looks like a Session
Y love Canada and you is very beautiful
I love Canada 🇨🇦 too 😍
Çà serait pas Brendon Semenuk le rider ?
Who has seen the episode 2 of my bile park trip in Sun Peaks resort? czcams.com/video/3Hl1xoPYN08/video.html
I will look at it soon 😉
enduro stage, but skinnies are manditory
Features with BCPOV?
No we have never connected so far. Would love to film with him on his trail!
Let’s see, red jersey (probably Trek), rampage rider, rich enough to own a jet, my guess would be Gee Atherton
Ahahah the guy in red was actually me. Try again!
Jumps are closed because of Covid and that’s understandable?
The mountain can't handle many injuries during this time. These jumps cause more injuries than the rest of the park.
4:35 what she said last night
😂😂😂😂
Hey Remy are you pure canadian?
No I am french, from France
@@remymetailler but you live in canada?
Tu peut faire une vidéos en FRANÇAIS
please😍😍
Ouais se serait cool 😎
Don’t hurt the Metic
That was totally a dumb move doing a stoppy right in front of him! Sheesh. WTH
Feel bad for these bikes
No bikes were harmed in the making of this video.
Bro they are made for this kind of stuff, downhill bikes are especially made for big impacts !
@@arny1896 it's a joke -_-
