I don’t know if you will see this Joe. You have a lot to be proud of. You have kept yourself clean and pulled your life to the positive. Don’t down yourself because of others decisions.

Do you have a decent warranty on your obviously defective broken heart? I ask because standard hearts don't break with such slight pressure. Also, you probably should've studied the trouble shooting/ common sense details upon purchase. Christ! I've been to detox, had friends that have O.D.'d, 2 are in rehab right this second. I've championed many addicts on their road to either recovery, back to the substance, incarceration, or even death. Dry your crocodile tears and man up damnit. It's embarrassing the regular, unbroken hearts here.

how took those people advantage of joe? did they steal monney from him or used him to make monney except brian? the only thing is that they propably did not tell the truth to joe about their problems with drugs and thats it. as long as people can handle their life, get to work and beeing a proper member of society they can use whatever they want in my opinion. @EsotericOccultist I took the “no sober constant” to mean that Dave is sober, but isn’t a constant right now. Dave has distanced himself to focus on his family. Same with Shannon. She’s working all the time too. I do wonder if Dave will be around more often now that he’s doing CZcams. Joe is Rabbit’s only sober constant because Rabbit is the only one who hasn’t tried to branch out on his own.
I am a drug addict myself 110 days clean. I respect you for approaching the situation the most professional, mindful & loyal friend you can be. Yea, he's high as a kite. I guarantee he got high right before Joe picked him up. He knows hes going to detox. Most people 9 times out of 10 usually get high right before they go in. Just for that one last high. I really do hope he gets clean. It just doesn't seem to me that he really really wants it. I just saw the video from 1 year ago right after he was released from prison. He was thick and healthy. But right now, he's literally on the brink of death. Please lord, i dont want to see this man die. Please touch his soul and help him beat this addiction and survive.

I totally agree. Thats why i hardly have any friends anymore, only the very few thats never shit on me or drag me down. Im far from stupid and i have so much common sense that i go through life by using it.(meaning i didnt get passed 9th grade but have multiple higher paying skills. Use to be a machinist but now paint cars. Im able to figure shit out and break the science down in me head) I been homeless several times and just lived a shitty and painful life since i was 9. Finally got completely sober in 2015 off what was makin me a slave to it, opioids. And im doin the best i ever have. The point is, is ive always had way too good of a heart that ive always been there and helped any way i can to ppl that they start taking advantage knowing ill do it and me knowing deep down that they're starting to just take advantage but still helped. U learn as u go and i finally quit hanging with them ol' "friends " and moved away too. It sucks sometimes having the heart i do but im cautious about who i let in now days.
You know, I really think Joe’s heart is in the right place. It’s frustrating that people hate on him when they don’t know the facts. Most of the time he hides the ugly side of someone to the detriment of himself. The internet really sucks sometimes
Please tell Rabbit that I have so much love for him. This is a huge step right here! If I can do it, you can do it! One thing I noticed while getting sober was that it is a HUGE mind game. The first time I got clean, I had no choice as I was in jail...I was using heroin and my methadone dose was at 130mg a day. no meds, just support from others. The withdrawal from the methadone was I think why my withdrawal felt as bad as they did, but I didn’t act like I was sick while in jail. No one knew, only the people that I spoke with in there. I did it, it was rough and it took about 1 week to not “feel sick” and the 3rd week is when I noticed that my equilibrium wasn’t messed up anymore and I was clear headed. I did however, relapse. It happens, not always, but it does. My counselor tells me that it’s a part of recovery. I don’t know if I totally agree with that, I believe you need tough love, random pee tests, if you fail said UA... then there should be consequences. That is what helped me stay clean and sober. Mind you, I’m on 90mg of methadone, and I won’t go up any higher. I eventually want to get off it, but I have to make sure I am ready and that my counselor thinks I’m in a good place. Until then, I stay on track, I keep myself busy, I workout, I ALWAYS answer my phone and return text messages because for me that keeps me in check.. the second that I stop communication with my support system... that means I’m falling off track so I make damn sure to keep everyone involved in my life involved in every positive thing that happens in my life so I know and they know that I’m doing good. Rabbit, take a piece of paper... write pros and cons at the top of the page, make that list and it will show you how much you need to do this for you. Joe is your family and he is what is best for you right now, let him help you and in return you show him that he can trust you again. Get that trust back, it will take time, but damnit you will get it back slowly and I know that you can do this man! I can’t wait for your update and to hear how well you’re doing! Yeah his reaction ticked me off. Here joe was bringing him on the platform, giving him money for shelter and clothing, helping him get work and he has the nerve to act like joe is the bad guy for simply asking him to do a drug test. And then fast fast forward to 2020 rabbit betrays joe by going behind his back after everything and gets high in his flip house and damages the property.
Im a recovering addict he has done the most important part he admitted he has a problem now he has to do the next thing I could not stay clean on my own I need HELP I go to anonymous meetings and do what they suggest to do and one day at a time I've been clean two years and eleven months the one I use is N.A. I'm a complete different person my own person and I'm absolutely happy down to my soul
I'm coming up on 6 years sober and have truly found happiness through a 12 step system. I keep my soul lite by doing the next right thing at any cost. Its possible to recover but you have to truly want it, gotta want it more than the dope. Good luck Rabbit god bless.
4 years ago i found my friwnd dead from heroin o.d. i also overdosed but. When i woke up i found her dead in her room i almost got wreckless homicide but didnt quit that day

I'm an addict, I don't think Joe's the bad guy at all. I think most addicts would jump at the chances Joe gives people, so I don't really think being an addict has anything to do with people thinking he's a bad guy.

My dad died in February this year from heart failure. He was a life long addict of anything speed related, also with other things as well. Myself, as well as both my brothers have been down the same road. Two weeks before my dad died he spent like 4 days in the hospital and the doctor basically told him his heart was shot and if he didn't change his habits he won't make it long. Not even that was enough to change his habits. He was only 53 when he died. One of my brothers are still stuck on that same path and we can't get him to understand that he will wind up where our dad is. He just blames our dad saying its his fault he got exposed to all this but we can't get him to understand we all did. You have to want to climb out of that hole, making excuses of why you're there won't help you get out. I said all that to say this... being an addict is a lifestyle, and once you lived that way for so long its hard to change, but its not impossible me and my other brother are out right now but its always a fight. If you see this Rabbit you have to keep fighting every day. I have 3 kids to fight for so thats my motivation. Without that motivation I know how hard it is...
APS has morphed into different things over time; maybe it's time to turn it on it's ear and become JOE'S after prison experience building his life and family rather than trying to be all things to all people. Also, Jarron is a beast of a dude for being willing to stand outside and chase people off.

as a recovering addict, the only thing i do right some days is not pickup. i mess up at work, i argue with my neighbors, i fight with my family, but as long as i make it til midnight without sticking a needle in my arm, it’s a win. that’s what rabbit needs to focus on now: just not using. the rest will fall into place later. but nothing can help someone who keeps picking up.
I’ve been getting treatment for mental illnesses, not addiction just to clarify. But I haven’t been on CZcams in a long time I’m sorry this is going on Joe. Yeah alot of us don't really know what's happen behind the scenes. There's probably more that has happened that we don't know. That's why when stuff happens between joe and said person we don't know what's really going on, though most of us can assume.

He was dealing with heroin for a year n half and when he quit and sober for a month tried again and die for a high considering amount of Fentanyl 😭 This drugs is killing a lot of ppls .. so sad .. Congrats bro-Truly, I think how joe does it is, he wakes up every day with a bright, optimistic attitude and a "go get em" mindset. He plans to do stuff every day! I dont know anyone as energetic as Joe G. Ive never heard of him sitting around on the couch and stuff. I admire him for his happy, lively, uplifting persona.

I got clean in 2020. Was the hardest thing I've ever been through. I did a lot of fucked up things while addicted that looking back on as a sober man I'm just mind blown. It's insane what people do while in addiction, it doesn't make sense. So good on you for sticking with him and giving him one last shot.
@@hawnshill7441 People deserve a second chance but people should realize they should give that second chance because the addict didn't have the capability to make any other decision within his prerequisites to make that decision. Also addicts will tend to do things for drugs they wouldn't do for anything else, like bypass people's personal boundaries
Anything with insurance involved is a good business. Open up a facility and bill medicaid millions of dollars in charges every year. Easy money. I've seen non-medical emergency transport businesses do the same thing. Some get caught for Medicaid and insurance fraud but most fly under the rug.
The recidivism rate is as high as it is for many reasons. Right or wrong, that means that the majority of people that Joe helps, sadly, won’t make it in the free world. The fact that Joe cares enough to even bother with it is inspiring. He doesn’t have to, he wants to. Shoutout to you Joe. These are not your successes or failures. Every person you try to help is a success. They take it from there.

I would cut him off of work and youtube.. but if he ever needs help in a certain instance I would do my best to still help him. He needs guidance.. Aint that the damn truth! I lost some really good friends through my addiction, friends who gave me chance after chance after chance and they finally had enough and I completely understand that. I was a piece of shit one of the people who would steal your shit and help you look for it kinda loser. There are still a few friends whom I would like to apologize to but I'm so embarrassed of the way I did those closest to me I can't look them in the eye and this was 13 years ago!

@@jessesands3030 Thank you and you as well. In the end I basically locked myself in my room and got addicted to PC gaming and next thing I know years had passed. I'm grateful I got clean but if I'm perfectly honest that long time away from society caused me new problems like I'm very socially awkward and have bad anxiety when in public. Both of which won't kill me so ill take those problems any day over my drug addiction which actually can kill you.
I don't think it's about right and wrong for Rabbit. I think it's about having clear goals vs. not having clear goals. To quote Robert Heinlein, "In the absence of clearly defined goals we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it." The truth is, Rabbit doesn't have an idea of what he wants his future to be. As since he doesn't have a future, he only has a now. And with now being the only thing, reckless behavior is the order of the day.
It's been a lil over a year since we done the Skype interview on here. I'm still clean. I've battled with the same addiction rabbit's battling now. It's no joke! If there's ANYTHING I can do lmk. Got some good tips to help him thru detox. It's gonna be a real ruff few days. Hang in there Rabbit!
Mike your right rabbit has a real hard road ahead, I quit heroin cold turkey all on my own (probably the dumbest move I could of done) for the first three days and it was hell. I ended up in the hospital where they had to put me in icu in a medically induced coma to get me though. But if rabbit wants it bad enough he can do it.
@Ryan Crump yeah it got me off of it but what I'm saying is doing it with help and such would of been better, cuz I actually died three times while I was going though the whole deal. That's why I was put into a medical induced coma for four days. But yeah it got me off the shit for sure!!

First of all, Joe you are not an idiot ! Your big heart has helped more than you know, your an inspiration to many of us that you’ve never met and probably never will, so stop putting yourself down and realize you can’t control what anyone other than yourself does, all you can do is offer the help and hope they take it to heart . I detoxed on my own. Took 47 days to think and feel normally. I watched Lost on Netflix. It sucked. Percocet and clonopin will do that. If you want it, you can do it. Grow some balls Rabbit. It's time.
I remember binge watching series' trying to detox back in my crazy days, being super interested and losing my pain in the show i was watching just for it all to come rushing back in the worst pain and cold chills imaginable when the show was over.

Rabbit. The way I stay clean is I had to figure out what brought me to the drugs. You know the drugs got you to where you are but what brought you to the drugs. After you get the shit outa your system start fighting for your self worth back .... you’re a good guy and can be anything you want bro!!!

Dude, this hits home. I had to repo my car from my own brother bc he was doing the same thing, manipulating text messages and phone calls, getting money to pay his habit from people who couldn't afford it, skipping car notes, and pitting loved ones against one another to keep everyone in the dark. That mess is dark. Brother popped while on probation and is headed back. All I can do is hope he does better with handling his demons.
linda shea I couldn’t agree more. Joe might not always make the best decisions, but no one acknowledges what a difficult situation it can be for someone witnessing active addiction. Knowing the “right” thing to do is incredibly hard and nuanced

linda shea tbh I used to be more judgmental on people who knew active addicts, but then I started witnessing my own family struggle with it and wow I have no idea what to do to help. Let alone if I were in Joe’s position where it’s public and his choices could hurt his source of income for himself and family and still potentially not even help the addict. I hope Joe knows there are still supporters who get it
Even if he is messing up, be the friend you claim to be. He needs you more than ever. You don’t have to give him money. Give him support. Help your friend!

I'm 15yrs into a horrible heroin addiction so from first hand knowledge, it's hard AF. But many people don't have anyone looking out for them especially will come get ya and take you to rehab. So all these people that Joe helps are so lucky then dont seem to appreciate it long term. Again, I know the struggle is real but I'd love to have resources like Joe offers to change my life as a drug addicted felon.

I have been through active addiction for 17 years...I was doing good after my last time in locked up, was good for 8 years and then I fucked up and now I'm fighting a new charge just that quick but we can do it! Both of us! You got Joe and many others that are willing to help...I dnt have that but I do have the willingness to do what ever I have to cuz I'm scared. I know I'm gonna die this route, and I dont wanna die yet. But Rabbit you can do it, we got your back.
After seeing rabbit talk in the truck you can tell he's not ready to quit, and as long as you do it for any other reason but for yourself its not gonna work. Trust as a recovering addict myself you have to want sobriety and its sad but rabbit doesnt want it yet. I sincerely hope im wrong and we believe in you brother..✌💚
Alan is absolutely right. Rabbit is not ready. He's doing this because he has to. He's broke and has no options right now, that's why. He has to do it when he wants to do it. If an addict walks into a detox facility with a hundred bucks in their pocket, that's how you know they're ready to quit.

She’s working all the time too. I do wonder if Dave will be around more often now that he’s doing CZcams. I totally agree. Thats why i hardly have any friends anymore, only the very few thats never shit on me or drag me down. Im far from stupid and i have so much common sense that i go through life by using it.(meaning i didnt get passed 9th grade but have multiple higher paying skills. Use to be a machinist but now paint cars. Im able to figure shit out and break the science down in me head) I been homeless several times and just lived a shitty and painful life since i was 9. Finally got completely sober in 2015 off what was makin me a slave to it, opioids. And im doin the best i ever have. The point is, is ive always had way too good of a heart that ive always been there and helped any way i can to ppl that they start taking advantage knowing ill do it and me knowing deep down that they're starting to just take advantage but still helped. U learn as u go and i finally quit hanging with them ol' "friends " and moved away too. It sucks sometimes having the heart i do but im cautious about who i let in now days.

Please tell Rabbit that I have so much love for him. This is a huge step right here! If I can do it, you can do it! One thing I noticed while getting sober was that it is a HUGE mind game. The first time I got clean, I had no choice as I was in jail...I was using heroin and my methadone dose was at 130mg a day. no meds, just support from others. The withdrawal from the methadone was I think why my withdrawal felt as bad as they did, but I didn’t act like I was sick while in jail. No one knew, only the people that I spoke with in there. I did it, it was rough and it took about 1 week to not “feel sick” and the 3rd week is when I noticed that my equilibrium wasn’t messed up anymore and I was clear headed. I did however, relapse. It happens, not always, but it does. My counselor tells me that it’s a part of recovery. I don’t know if I totally agree with that, I believe you need tough love, random pee tests, if you fail said UA... then there should be consequences. That is what helped me stay clean and sober. Mind you, I’m on 90mg of methadone, and I won’t go up any higher. I eventually want to get off it, but I have to make sure I am ready and that my counselor thinks I’m in a good place. Until then, I stay on track, I keep myself busy, I workout, I ALWAYS answer my phone and return text messages because for me that keeps me in check.. the second that I stop communication with my support system... that means I’m falling off track so I make damn sure to keep everyone involved in my life involved in every positive thing that happens in my life so I know and they know that I’m doing good. Rabbit, take a piece of paper... write pros and cons at the top of the page, make that list and it will show you how much you need to do this for you. Joe is your family and he is what is best for you right now, let him help you and in return you show him that he can trust you again. Get that trust back, it will take time, but damnit you will get it back slowly and I know that you can do this man! I can’t wait for your update and to hear how well you’re doing! I hope that you get to read this. You don’t have to reply, it would make my day, and maybe I could help you stay positive going forward. You let me know what I can do to help and I will. My dad died in February this year from heart failure. He was a life long addict of anything speed related, also with other things as well. Myself, as well as both my brothers have been down the same road. Two weeks before my dad died he spent like 4 days in the hospital and the doctor basically told him his heart was shot and if he didn't change his habits he won't make it long. Not even that was enough to change his habits. He was only 53 when he died. One of my brothers are still stuck on that same path and we can't get him to understand that he will wind up where our dad is. He just blames our dad saying its his fault he got exposed to all this but we can't get him to understand we all did. You have to want to climb out of that hole, making excuses of why you're there won't help you get out. I said all that to say this... being an addict is a lifestyle, and once you lived that way for so long its hard to change, but its not impossible me and my other brother are out right now but its always a fight. If you see this Rabbit you have to keep fighting every day. I have 3 kids to fight for so thats my motivation. Without that motivation I know how hard it is...

as a recovering addict, the only thing i do right some days is not pickup. i mess up at work, i argue with my neighbors, i fight with my family, but as long as i make it til midnight without sticking a needle in my arm, it’s a win. that’s what rabbit needs to focus on now: just not using. the rest will fall into place later. but nothing can help someone who keeps picking up.

I got clean in 2020. Was the hardest thing I've ever been through. I did a lot of fucked up things while addicted that looking back on as a sober man I'm just mind blown. I was a piece of shit one of the people who would steal your shit and help you look for it kinda loser. There are still a few friends whom I would like to apologize to but I'm so embarrassed of the way I did those closest to me I can't look them in the eye and this was 13 years ago!

But the was the farthest from the truth i think everyone needs held kicking and staying clean. Good job on kicking it.
@@jessesands3030 Thank you and you as well. In the end I basically locked myself in my room and got addicted to PC gaming and next thing I know years had passed. I'm grateful I got clean but if I'm perfectly honest that long time away from society caused me new problems like I'm very socially awkward and have bad anxiety when in public. Both of which won't kill me so ill take those problems any day over my drug addiction which actually can kill you.
60 year old man needs to be accountable for himself. At that age you know what’s right and wrong. Let him figure it out.
I don't think it's about right and wrong for Rabbit. I think it's about having clear goals vs. not having clear goals. To quote Robert Heinlein, "In the absence of clearly defined goals we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it." The truth is, Rabbit doesn't have an idea of what he wants his future to be. As since he doesn't have a future, he only has a now. And with now being the only thing, reckless behavior is the order of the day.
This made me cry, Rabbit reminds me of my dad and it really hurts to see him like this.

It's been a lil over a year since we done the Skype interview on here. I'm still clean. I've battled with the same addiction rabbit's battling now. It's no joke! If there's ANYTHING I can do lmk. Got some good tips to help him thru detox. It's gonna be a real ruff few days. Hang in there Rabbit!

Mike your right rabbit has a real hard road ahead, I quit heroin cold turkey all on my own (probably the dumbest move I could of done) for the first three days and it was hell. I ended up in the hospital where they had to put me in icu in a medically induced coma to get me though. But if rabbit wants it bad enough he can do it.
@Ryan Crump yeah it got me off of it but what I'm saying is doing it with help and such would of been better, cuz I actually died three times while I was going though the whole deal. That's why I was put into a medical induced coma for four days. But yeah it got me off the shit for sure!!

Your big heart has helped more than you know, your an inspiration to many of us that you’ve never met and probably never will, so stop putting yourself down and realize you can’t control what anyone other than yourself does, all you can do is offer the help and hope they take it to heart .

I detoxed on my own. Took 47 days to think and feel normally. I watched Lost on Netflix. It sucked. Percocet and clonopin will do that. If you want it, you can do it. Grow some balls Rabbit. It's time.
I remember binge watching series' trying to detox back in my crazy days, being super interested and losing my pain in the show i was watching just for it all to come rushing back in the worst pain and cold chills imaginable when the show was over.

Dude, this hits home. I had to repo my car from my own brother bc he was doing the same thing, manipulating text messages and phone calls, getting money to pay his habit from people who couldn't afford it, skipping car notes, and pitting loved ones against one another to keep everyone in the dark. That mess is dark. Brother popped while on probation and is headed back. All I can do is hope he does better with handling his demons.

linda shea tbh I used to be more judgmental on people who knew active addicts, but then I started witnessing my own family struggle with it and wow I have no idea what to do to help. Let alone if I were in Joe’s position where it’s public and his choices could hurt his source of income for himself and family and still potentially not even help the addict. I hope Joe knows there are still supporters who get it

I'm 15yrs into a horrible heroin addiction so from first hand knowledge, it's hard AF. But many people don't have anyone looking out for them especially will come get ya and take you to rehab. So all these people that Joe helps are so lucky then dont seem to appreciate it long term. Again, I know the struggle is real but I'd love to have resources like Joe offers to change my life as a drug addicted felon.

I have been through active addiction for 17 years...I was doing good after my last time in locked up, was good for 8 years and then I fucked up and now I'm fighting a new charge just that quick but we can do it! Both of us! You got Joe and many others that are willing to help...I dnt have that but I do have the willingness to do what ever I have to cuz I'm scared. I know I'm gonna die this route, and I dont wanna die yet. But Rabbit you can do it, we got your back.

Alan is absolutely right. Rabbit is not ready. He's doing this because he has to. He's broke and has no options right now, that's why. He has to do it when he wants to do it. If an addict walks into a detox facility with a hundred bucks in their pocket, that's how you know they're ready to quit.

Thank you so much for showing the world the struggles dealing with addiction. Caring is one hardest spots to be in.
