    You are the most underappreciated editing channel on CZcams dude. You are incredibly consistent at being helpful and to the point.

    Fantastic video. Short and to the point - yet with all the information I was looking for. Thank you for sharing this.

    :O)
    I'm afraid the Time Remapping tool is complicated. They should take a note out of DaVinci Resolve's book. However I watched your video and you made it look so simple and inspired me to have another go.
    I just did and a couple of things aggravate me: 1) When I place the playhead to where I want the Output to be I lose the position the moment I select the Output handle, but I found a get around which is precision; 2) it screwed-up my Out Point; trying to correct this within the Time Remapping interface was impossible.
    I decided to untick the Time Remap and use Change Speed instead; much easier, quicker and less stressful.
    Thank you for your video and the moments of hope it brought me
    :O)

    Hey! Thanks for this video. It gave me a couple of pointers for drastically improving my workflow in kdenlive, even though they were not the main topic of your video.

    Is there a way to make the changes in speed gradual instead of immediate? It would look more smooth I guess.

    Does Kdenlive have a feature to temporarily pause the video?
    Ex. of use is if you want to explain or comment on some specific part of the video, so the video should stop temporary and zoom-in to the part you would comment.

      Im not an expert and I have no idea about a feature like that since Im new to Kdenlive but I have to do it currently, I would make a cut, then like put a screentshot of the scene you want frozen for as long and you want and zoom in, then zoom back to the continued video I guess

      Try freeze effect

    • @jackb1803
      @jackb1803 Před dnem

      @@sherkhan_5050 I tried this, but it doesn't work for me. Instead I do as @starryicetea7031 suggested. I extract a clip to the timeline, insert where the pause needs to go, and adjust the length.

    @TJ FREE I need help. Please make a video how you remove sub-sections on an already clipped image in Incscape. For example Im trying to make a logo for the Wife's stream. I did manage to cut out the main branch and flowers, but not the spaces in-between. Then the normal way of clipping does not work(atleast not for me). Thanks for the great videos

    hello, thanks for sharing it :) I tried to apply the same effect with the time remap but I got this message: "Time remap does not work on clip with B frames." do you know what does it means? I did the speed up in the old school way, cutting and increasing the speed :( once again, thanks for this amazing content!

    Time Remap crashes the application. It happened to others too, but since last year no response on the official website. Does anyone know how to fix?
