You talk so often in your videos about bravely trying to get started, just daring to play with colours and shapes, not thinking in terms of wrong and right, not telling yourself "I can't do this and that" and not falling into perfectionism, only to be unhappy about the result.
I am a little surprised about that. Is that the feedback from your viewers? Are they so afraid of doing something wrong or "failing" and enter the playground with so much pressure? 😔
Creativity is first of all only for me and my soul. It is not a challenge or a test. It should just be fun for me, like a child playing with clay, mud or a simple cardboard box. The deeper meaning is joy and meeting myself, and the result is secondary.
I wish all creative people from the bottom of my heart, to let go of the thoughts of the tedious everyday life, because now something happens without rules, to turn off the head and to sink into the materials, to enjoy them and to welcome and embrace yourself.❤ You are wonderful...

This reminds me of a thistle, I would love to see you do similar style as a thistle, with purples.
Marta, you really do inspire me to give painting a go. I done some water colour painting a couple of years ago, I copied a lot of your Christmas cards. Im a new Mum and have no time to do creative things. My fiance asked what I wanted for my birthday and I have asked for some of these markers. It feels smaller and easier than getting all my paintint stuff out. Thank you for your videos, I feel so welcome to give it a go and get it wrong. You are amazing.

I don’t think drawing and doodling on your painting is cheating! I love the details you’ve added.
It's Mix Media! Even if you don't consider yourself a great master of art, your art still has its justification, its expression and its joy to experience. It does not have to hide either.
At a certain point, the desire for perfectionism blocks the talent to develop further. So these thoughts and feelings are quite counterproductive.
In art everything is allowed, there are no art police and your art is quite enchanting, convincing and always makes me happy when I see it. That alone counts and is not "cheating" on whom at all?

Marta, even though this is your new channel, I immediately felt watching this video that it was exactly like watching old Marta watercolour videos, the first videos I watched of yours that truly made me want to jump up and grab my paints. Absolutely loved the chats and the flower is just gorgisso, I think the doodling really brings out the beauty of watercolour keeping it even looser. Art is to be enjoyed and should never feel intimidating so always do what makes it comfortable and enjoyable for you

I watched all the flower videos and the butterfly and the dragon fly. I wanted to try the flower one as it said easy. I have tried the flower painting several times and mine do not turn out at all. either all the color is in the middle or its a total muddy mess. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I think it is the brush position and the paint. Anything you can do to help? I really want to do these paintings and I am so disappointed that its not turning out. could you do a short or another video showing the brush stroke / position. Sorry to be a pain in the butt, just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. thank you for all that you do.
