2023 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL vs SEL Premium | Side by Side Trim Comparison!

- In this video I do a side by side trim comparison of the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL and 2023 Santa Fe SEL Premium. The midsize SUV segment remains very popular for Hyundai with the Santa Fe. If you are looking for a vehicle that is just a little larger than the Tucson without the need for a 3rd row, the Santa Fe fits the bill perfectly. These two trims are some of the most popular trims you will find on dealership lots but do differ from each other a good amount. The SEL Premium starts more towards luxury and the SEL is a great value trim staying within a budget. Let me know which one you prefer in the comments below!

I can't say it enough, your sense of what the normal new vehicle shopper is looking for (Hyundai product line in this case) and can afford is spot on, you speak clearly and are efficient in the manner in which you walk us through your video's . Well done !
Thank you for the great summary. And also thank you for keeping salesman-type superlatives out
Just got our new sel premium today. Thank you for these videos
This was perfect! Thank you! Helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted!
That's the goal! Glad it helped!
I want this one
Premium, wish the turbo was an option but it is what it is. Good suv for the money. Warranty is great.
Just got the premium ... did not even kkow it was premium till i watched your video. Thanks.
Congrats!
Got the 23 sel premium, only sad about home link being absent. Everything else is great. I left an outlander and i must say driving is more fun in the Santa fe.
Got my new santa fe SEL PREMIUM🤩
Congrats!
I'd take the premium
All it needs is a bit more power for the standard engine.
It would be a benefit for sure.
I thought the 2023 sel premium comes with the home link on the auto dimming mirror
It used to be on SEL Convenience and higher but for 2023, Hyundai moved it to Limited and higher.
Santa fe xrt used based of the sel convenience now based of sel or sel premium
It is now based on the base SEL due to the equipment moving down the trim lineup. So the main difference with the SEL and XRT is going to be getting the H-Tex interior.
Soo Handsome ! Reviewer 😢
I wish Hyundai had added the 2.5T option to the SEL Premium.
Only on limited and calligraphy?
Four grand extra for the Premium package. That's is a bit steep IMO. Having said that, I really like the blindspot cameras. Really wish that feature was standard with the SEL.
It isn't cheap but you are getting a lot for the money. Some vehicles will charge you the same amount for less or just cosmetic stuff.
@@CarsMadeSimple That is also true. I still have a few months to go before I decide, but I've narrowed it down to the Subaru Forester Limited and the Hyundai Santa Fe SEL. I'm pretty in tuned with each of their strengths and weaknesses; I think a test drive will ultimately help me decide.
@@Cruzan9 I would also take a look at the Santa Fe Hybrid Blue. It offers some features of the upper gas trims for a very reasonable price including that digital cluster and a few other items.
@@CarsMadeSimple I'll look into it. Thanks!
@@Cruzan9 Ill be shooting a video today one one!
Good video. I just purchased the SEL premium
Congrats!
@@CarsMadeSimple T. U. Love it. Nice car
Does the come with keyless entry
Yes! Proximity key with push button start is on the SEL and higher. The SE has standard remote entry with the fob and key start.
😀🤘🤙
Bought the premium level and it is amazing. Hyundai gives great value.
Totally agree!
I just literally purchased the SEL-Premium and it does not come with any floor or cargo mats as well as no cargo retractable shade. But it’s very nice so far!!
@@MichaelJohnson-mz8bs Those are all additional accessories. The vehicle you purchased must've not had them from the factory.
Yeah, but I can say, just yesterday, the dealer did hook me up with mats. So, no complaints
The 2024 will look nothing like this. It will resemble a poor man's Land Rover Defender.
You're right. I didn't know they were thinking of such a drastic redesign.
ONE cupholder?! 😵
The second one is under the retractable cover.
@@CarsMadeSimple oh phew!! thank you
@@CarsMadeSimple i just rewatched that part and realized im an idiot
