This is such a good clear video. Thank you so much. It will be nice to know how to do like and outline card cut. where the lace roses is. So you have an effect where the lace rose is layered on a contract colour plain card.

This is wonderful. I want to get a curio for my birthday present because Im nervous about a cricut.
Do you have experience with curio? If so which do you find to be more user friendly. Im leaning towards the curio because they make it seem like it would be better forthicker material like chipboard and acrylic as well.

So a machine is anywhere from $120-$400 cardstock lets just go with michaels pricing but if you have a local store you can get it cheaper. 50 sheets on sale for $2. I hope that gives you some idea?

Any cardstock would do. I would say keep it 65lb and above though to make sure its sturdy
So you could make this with essentially any flower or succulent, ect? For the score line, I thought that was only a maker feature? But I see you used the air 2. (Sorry had to watch with no sound but I will go back later with sound and see if I can find the answer)
I need a snowflake pattern. How do I find a snowflake that will cut like your flowers did. I tried going into images, inserted it into my project, welded it, but it would not cut out the inside portion of the snowflake. It only cut the outline.

If you have a lot of these to do, and if you have a second mat, you can alternate using the mats. That way you can be cutting one while removing another and cleaning its mat.

How do you get the font for the roses? Is this something that is under the cricut font?
I'm starting to make invitations with my cricut ... it helps to have 2 mats so while your cleaning and preparing 1 the other one is cutting.. do you have a tip to clean the glitter from the cricut mat I made some invitations with glitter cardstock and it was horrible
use a lint roller

Sorting? Do you mean scoring? That blade is for the maker not the explore series

Hi, I'm just getting started. Will you please tell me which Cricut is best for making laser cut wedding invitations? I'm going to purchase a machine on Saturday. Will you also tell me the attachments I should purchase also please? Thank you in advance :-)
The maker or the explore will work fine. You won’t need anything additional with the machine to cut these. I would get a couple extra light grip mats
I try this last night, and made a complete mess. Followed your video step by step. The cut outs completely ripped wish I could attach the video

Hello- what setting do you use for the actual cut? I am having an issue with the cricut cutting completely through. I have changed the mat, replaced the blade, changed the setting and I am still having the same issues. Any help is greatly appreciated?!
for this I used the medium card stock setting. I would recommend trying cardstock for intricate cuts
I'm very new to this and limited on materials is there a way to score without the tool or the pen? Thank you
Not in the machine but you can do it by hand with a butter knife, ruler, just about anything with a thin edge
How long does it typically take to cut these pockets? I’m considering making them for my wedding invitations but want to be realistic about the time commitment it may take. Mind you i need to cut about 150
I would not recommend making them. This would take you days. This cut takes at least 30 minutes per card.

How would you do lace?
find a lace pattern you like and place it on the sides of the cards making sure there is a small amount of overlap and weld it.

I went onto dafont.com, found different fonts and snowflakes, downloaded them, uploaded them, but I don't see them in my text selections on my criciut...help?
You need to install them not upload them. Be sure you are closing your design space after you have installed them.

What machine? You likely didnt have the line set correctly but depending on machine it may be a tool issue
