    Hi I love them .. what thickness (cardstock) do u used for the outside ?

    • @DIYAlex

      I recommend using 80 or 110lb cardstock for the outside.

    What cardstock weight do you suggest for card base for a wedding invitation ? I like a thicker feel .

      @DIYAlex  Před 4 lety +3

      I would try 80 or 110lb Cardstock if you want them thicker.

    What kind of glue would you use to glue card stock piece to another card stock piece ?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 3 lety

      If either of them is glitter Cardstock, I recommend Art Glitter Glue. It’s the best! For regular cardstock I actually prefer double sided tape or just Tacky Glue.

    If I wanted to do them this size what size envelope would I get so it fits since your didn’t fit

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 2 lety

      I would try at 6.95" and see how that works. Your envelopes may be a slightly different size if you get different invitations anyway, so just make sure you make a sample first and try it. :)

    How much would you chart for something like this. Lets say somebody orders 100 invitations?

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 4 lety +1

      I would look at materials cost x 3. Normally I would say materials x 2, but since each cut takes so long, it would require a lot more time.

    HELP!!!! So I just tried doing this but during the project, the power button started flashing red. I googled some answers and it said it could be inconsistent in material or thickness ? Not sure if I missed something 😩

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 3 lety +1

      Make sure nothing is stuck in your wheels or blade, and if that’s not the case, you’ll need to reach out to Cricut customer service if your power button is flashing red. Sorry that’s happening to you!

      @@DIYAlex thank you for your response! So I’m using a very old old blue mat, doesn’t stick at all lol. You think maybe it’s getting caught on that? I’m going to try again. Love this tutorial btw! bought the online templates you used ☺️

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 3 lety +1

      I’m so glad it’s helpful!! Yes, that is a big possibility. Try a sticky green mat with glitter cardstock and that will help. You can also use painters tape on the edges to help the paper stay in place!

    • @DIYAlex
      @DIYAlex  Před 2 lety +1
