- Here is a full update of the changes to my 2019 World Tour Replica Board. I have redone it to be a full replica of the North American leg over a "best of" board since all of my favourite performances are from that leg!

Cool rundown Justin! You got a lot of great pedals there and a lot of dough invested, why not go all the way and do the soldered cables like JM with the Mogami/Switchcraft? Seems like you are so close to not fully cross the finish line!

Hey. I love you channel. You must be the biggest JM fan ever. As for me I'm a guitar player and I consider myself part of the Grateful Dead family having seen 63 Grateful Dead shows with Jerry Garcia and tons of Phish and Allmans etc plus Miles Davis, Stones, REM, Metallica, Zappa, Ramones, James Brown, etc... I've been learning solos the way Jerry Garcia played them and then comparing that to the way J M plays them. I really only started to notice JM when he played Althea on the late show with Bob Weir. i have seen him with Dead and Company 6 times. At first I didn't like him with them so much but this latest tour I thought he was really good. He is at his best when he just is himself and adds a blues tone to Jerry's songs. Anyway there may be a video in there somewhere talking about his playing vs. Jerry's and that time he played Jerry's Wolf guitar (middle pickup is apparently non functional currently..)

Well I mean I literally said my next video is all about using the pedals on the board. We’d be here forever if I went through the whole thing and then demo’d everything on it. Plus there is no point in showing how it’s used out of context when you all know what a Klon sounds like.
@@JustinJeske why so sassy?😂 we all know what the board looks like and can see a picture of it, so why do we need a video with no sounds?
@@JustinJeske Thank you for your reply but in my opinion it is better to put a snipet or just a key tone on what the pedalboard is capable of instead of no sound at all, and then make a seperate video for the people who really wanna go in depth with it, because i think people expect to hear how it sounds when they click the video. @Zachery Campbell Not sassy at all dude. Most people actually don’t know what the board is like. They don’t know the proper chain, what pedals are on it, etc, cause I see the same questions asked constantly. I’m the only one who’s actually done the board so I figured I’d head off a lot of questions in future videos by directing them to this one on the actual rig. But if you think it’s pointless that’s fine

Awesome video and build, Justin! Quick question: what type of board are you using? Is that GOMC? Or plywood I could get from the local hardware store? Asking because many of the boards for sale at retailers near me seem to be a bit too small for a build like this.

Wow did you really buy a Klon? I though I was crazy being on the waitlist for a King of Tone. Nice traditional Clean amp btw. Excellent taste in amps.... You really should get a Dumble to complement you Klon though (j/k).

Great job! Very detailed and thorough. Curious (because I’ve never played a real Klon) how different the Ceriatone was?
This is my personal opinion so take it with a massive grain of salt: the Ceriatone isn't as accurate as everyone says/thinks it is. That's with me having my specific Klon against it. Maybe it's more accurate against the Klon it was designed off of... but I wasn't that impressed especially once the gain was turned up.

You should check out the past fx ce1 chorus they do. It’s the best chorus I’ve ever had. Can’t live without it

I have a somewhat JM Inspired board but not sure if I’m doing it correctly. If possible, it’ll be great if I can send you a picture via email and get some feedback and thoughts on it. What is the difference between the qtron and qtron+? Other than response and fx loop.
That's it. But having the Response setting and the FX Loop makes the Plus worth it over the Standard Q-tron, because you still have to power it with 24v Center Positive and they are the same size there is no reason to not pick the Plus.

They just had an AP MK1 listed on Reverb for 2200 a few days ago. It sold in about 30 minutes.

I’ve only ever seen that one listed and I’m on reverb multiple times a day. I think it was #84. He said he had a couple others he sold to big name artists awhile back and held that one for himself. It was originally listed at 2k then re-listed and sold at 2200. A bit rich for my blood but if I ever see another come up, I will message you.
I appreciate that my dude!! Yeah I’ve personally seen 3 in the past year, 2 sold that I never saw. 2 of them went to my buddies which is good. One I bought and then the guy refunded me after someone saw my story saying I bought one and made the guy a higher offer… so my luck hasn’t been what you’d call great lol.

I actually just engraved the back of my Klon Centaur with his name and called it a day. No time for making an Altar!
Interesting ...you prefer the more overdriven/saturated tones then let's say 2017 for example. I felt like he was running a more cleaner tone earlier in his career, but 2019 was much more overdriven.
Do you consider 2019 the "Mayer" sound?
It's a more modern Continuum sound to me. I don't think it's "the" sound, but it's certainly one of my favourite tour tones as a whole!

Yup! But it isn’t that, it was just an example of two clean boosts stacked together like the Kirkland in concept. It’s still something Prestigeish under the hood of the real thing.
