I've been doing for the most part of my career a mithril miner, until gemstone mining was basically as must-do. Seeing this makes me feel nostalgic

Before crystal hollows I used to have a powder mining setup. The hotm path snaked to the fallen star miner. It gave insane powder when mining near fallen stars. You could make 100s of powder a second with a good enough setup at max. I didn't however have that good of a setup and some places the fallen star guardians would disturb your mining, and it required lobby hopping to find a fallen star. No mods specialised in that either so gl finding them. The method has since been outclassed by crystal hollows chest mining which with even a low hotm 6 setup gives the same amount of mithril and also gemstone powder. And 2x powder is now rarer in dwarven and less people are using dwarven luck perk which reduces the spawning of fallen stars.
interesting. i never figured the perk could be good at all because it isn't that much of an increase, and manual mithril in the dwarven mines generally isn't good for powder. i guess before the crystal hollows it could've been good though

@@Implodent that was literally my tought lol but i dont think it will move that much myb a little bit but prices of tita went up by alot when they made mithril 8 coins so less people mined it so it kinda evened out even if im not sure by how much but tita used to be like 70-75 but now its like around 120

Mithril prices would go down, but you can sell to npc for more then bazaar already. Its kinda overpowered because it can't really get nerfed unless the admins step in.

Two things, one, is there a place that I can find the tick threshold for the blue wool, second, are your rates based off a maxed hotm or 4M of each powder, because I’m making roughly 9M per hour with full divans, gauntlet and epic scatha, I may be mining inefficiently so I was just wondering.

What if you use reindeer pet to level up golden dragons with exp Share Cores. Does the 2x pet exp apply to the exp share cores . If so mithril mining this way may be better.
even if it did, reindeer gives no buffs to mining and xp share would go from 25% exp to 50%exp, just equipping the gdrag would be better
Yh but u would be doing multiple so the 50% would be better if u have more then 1 with xp share

yes the money made per hour would drastically decrease if your not using scatha since without scatha perk, you would need to mine the titanium yourself instead of letting the perk do that for you

How is Golden dragon better? Quick claw for level 200 should be 100 mining speed and 100 fortune right? You get up to 175 fortune with scatha quick claw
you uh... level the gdrag? they sell for a lot more at lvl200 than lvl100

So i been mining for just a little bit of time, i been mostly mining ruby and has noticed i somehow have only 11m/H even with my setup that should from learning from others atleast make me 14m/h, some can say its skill issue or powder issue, i just want tips and help on what to change or improve! usually skill issue. your ping could also be decreasing it, but I would highly recommend focusing on being more efficient
i have 6.6k mining speed and 2.1k mf and lvl 100 eff mining and lvl 50 tita insanium and epic scatha and im only making 15m is it just me just being bad with my efficiency or something else
you need 5x tita. if you're complaining about normal rates, the most likely answer is skill issue
I’m going for on Ironman and the titanium sucks so what I do is every 20 minutes I check what skymall perk it is and if it’s 5x titanium I go do it for 20 minutes I ts insane

It's funny how players sleep on the dwarven mines mithril and titanium mining. It's quick and easy and I do commissions when I'm mining mithril for some quick coins...

@@Implodent Yeah, I mean a few minutes of doing commissions for me is a million coins worth. No searching for lobbies or finding places to mine. I think most newer players ignore mithril and titanium because they can't armadillo mine it and you need a lot of mithril powder- at least I did, to make good money mining it. I'm at almost 9 million mithril powder and haven't maxed out the mithril part of the tree yet...
