Love the video, but I think that it is important to mention that you gain 600k powder/hour when you already have alot when starting you will get like 200k max in summary not each
when ur powder mining near the walls of the hollows im pretty sure theres a 2 blocks buffer to where u can spawn chests so ur better off being 5-6 blocks underneath the very top
3:17 you can also get a backpack of water bottles and drink them when you get to 80+ heat since when drunk they remove 40 heat
or use a bottle of jyrre since when drunk it also removes heat and stays as a water bottle
The skymall perk for 10x goblin chance in the crystal hollows gives so many goblins, idk how much you can make back from the pure mithril gems tho
Love the calamity music
So the scatha pet pet is kinda bad for powder. The extra hardstone it breaks procs before mole. This often cuts the block you break off from other connected blocks that mole would break. If there are no connected blocks when mole starts then mole doesnt do anything. I believe the treasure perk also doesn't affect chest spawn rates. I've been told that the powder buff it gives works and that it doesn't. Anyways you get way more gemstone powder than mithril anyways so if you are ever gonna go for 20m/20m it will be much faster to use the mithril golem and get the +20% mithril powder.
Also for the goblin one, if you are solo, there's a spot in the dwarven mines completely enclosed to stop them from running. There's an elevator shaft at 87 193 12. Etherwarp into the glass at the top of it. Its a small room where the goblins can'r escape.

@@user-jh2fq8et3n the 20m/20m is for max xp. The mithril worked when I did powder grinding. Ik it says while mining but it still increased my powder gain.

another good pet for powder mining is snail. gives mining fortune to hardstone which makes you more money while powder grinding
i thought mining fortune didn't apply to hardstone
the snail pet has a different kind of mining fortune.. it's hard to explain, but only the snail pet gives fortune for things like ice, sand, and stones
@iKalazar oh that's sick but what about mithril golem because of the 20% boosted mithril powder
i don't think that boost applies to any of the methods i've shown in this video

IMPORTANT WHEN GOBLIN EGG NOT EXPLAINED IN VIDEO
- Wait for the sky mall 10x golden goblin chances. Layer it on a 2x powder event if you wanna make the most of it, but these are super hard events to get together (sky mall works in ch too so lobby hop)
- Use different types of eggs. Some may have more cost effective chances at spawning a gob as different eggs have different chances
I’ve personally used this method for around 300k mithril powder from a single 10x goblin from 15mil ish from geggs, but I also got 2 pure mithril gems which is pretty cool

why would you ever use a 2x powder to spawn goblins, when there's a 10x goblin spawn chance. more goblins = more powder.
2x powder < 10x powder?
They're separate events. One is Sky Mall, the other is natural Dwarven Mines; I guess that means you can get x20!

i make about 75k powder with comms
x2 Powder works good but in my opinion x10 Goblin Chance is even better

It's 23.5 mil to max out gemstone tree
For powder mining, I suggest using mineral armour set + get a compact enchant on your mining tool.
Mineral breaks ores adjacent to the hardstone you're mining and coal will accumulate quite high and sells well on bazzar.
Correction: Diamond Goblin gives 400 powder of each type + 20 diamond essence.
