Edit: I'm now a senior and I convinced my band director to let us play it again and I once again get the solo!!!

This song is fundamentally easy, it truly is musicanship where it’ll get ya. My band performs this overtempo (if you play this song in 1.25x, thats around the tempo we take it), just to keep it engaging to the audience. If you play this at this tempo, you better have clean articulations and incredible dynamic contrast otherwise the audience will get bored.
That’s because in the string orchestra version of this song and the original song is 188bpm, idk why it’s 160

My band had to learn this in less than a week. This is harder thn when the band director changed the Marching Arrangements a week before Trussville (MArching Festival)
The Bat Child my class had like a month and a half and even then there were some problems (I'm trombone btw so I didn't do too much)
The Trussville marching Festival is one of the most stressful competitions.
Got the xylophone, bells, and crotales part, so this has been a lifesaver!! Love this song!

My band is this year. Its insanely difficult, but we are absolutely killing it! I love it so much. The only difference of this one and ours is that we are playing this at a quicker tempo
as a student from GPN HS we have been playing this for 3 years straight once every year at one of our concerts. it is amazing to play and hear the peoples reactions when we play. (im on tenor sax) everything about it is perfect for the ending of a show. Love it!
