We played this for my concert for band

We might have to scrap this one (eighth grade band, in percussion.) The flute section has two members, and one of them is only their because their friend is there. They both don't try, and with this much focus on the flutes, and them not playing, that's an issue

I played this in 7th grade it was probably one of the best pieces we played

The harmony and synchronization in this piece doesn’t make it feel like a grade 1. This piece packs a lot of dynamic contrasting and control which makes it more difficult than it looks. I’ve heard high school groups play this piece and it was no where near average. Do not underestimate this piece.
