i like XBOX version, Which one is your favorite?
PS2
Top jeux et bon courage
PS2
Gamecube
PS2
The Xbox version runs more consistently, looks sharper and sounds crisper than the other versions, and like the Xbox and PS2 versions of Call of Duty: Finest Hour, this game supports system link/LAN on both platforms. The GameCube version is rough compared to the Xbox and PS2 versions for many reasons; missing dynamic shadows, long load times, inferior texture quality, and lack of multiplayer.
Buen video! Qué tal si comparas Medal of Honor Frontline?
Thanks for the video. I'm not sure what resolution you used for PS2 because most ps2 games would level at 512×448 and not 640×480. I realised this when I emulated the game lol.
Xbox runs the smoothest and has the best shaders. Devs could have improved the shaders on ps2 or at least optimized it more. Xbox would be easier for them to program on because it's the console result of DirectX so it's similar outcomes with what you'd expect to deal with on PC. The EE engine on the PS2 and the architecture for the PS3 were very difficult to program and optimize with.
nope ps2 just weak in every area compared to xbox and gamecube many games had to decrease lighting and polygons just to run on ps2 it had the worse everything even lost Dreamcast because ps2 cant do texrures
@@southsidetherealest2860 Someone sounds hurt. I'm addressing the technological truth here. Not yours or anybody else's opinion.
Also fun fact: Nobody is even sure if the architecture of the PS2 was used to it's best potential.
I had the gamecube versión and the framerate is really bad, no playable today and the control is not confortable.
I remember when this came out and I enjoyed the original Xbox version (BR1) over COD2 on the 360, which was a different campaign.
Both games were amazing, but yea, Big Red One, in my opinion, was the best of the classic cods.
La version de xbox se ve demasiado superior
your benchmarks are very good, but you don't put the correct resolution in the games, on PS2 it's very rare for a game to achieve 640x480, actually games usually run at 512x448 and that's why aliasing is noticeable in many games compared to other consoles
Merci beaucoup
Boy you can see just how much better the OG Xbox’s graphics were than the PS2.
My Guess would be, Developed first on the PS2, a quick sloppy port to the Gamecube where they new it wasn't going to sell well anyway, and the Xbox version as per usual was the best looking best running. The PS2 and Xbox version had online deathmatch. I played the PS2 version online back in the day. Good online play. The Single player is decent as well. I should probably pick the Xbox version soon. I have been ignoring the Gamecube market because it's the trendy market, so it probably costs more than both the other versions even though it looks to be the worst quality. Again, I'm guessing it was a rush port job to the GCN which was a smaller market, and no online play.
The reason a lot of Gamecube games look worse than PS2 is because the smaller Gamecube discs only have a 1.5GB storage capacity vs PS2's 4.7GB. So they have to compress the textures and remove other data in order for the game to fit on the GC disc. Another f-up from Nintendo that held back an otherwise great console. If the Gamecube had real DVDs, it would match, if not surpass PS2 in all areas while having a significantly better framerate. Like how the game shown here is running at 60fps on the Gamecube. while the PS2 can barely stick to 30fps. The Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2, but it's small disc storage capacity held it back a fair bit.
@@IntenseMagic Yes, storage capacity was definitely an issue, but developer focus was also an issue. If the devs had taken the time to properly utilize the GC, they still could have pulled off a better looking port. Both the GC, and Xbox had hardware features that made things like texture compression, and for the Xbox bump mapping easy to utilize for developers, whereas to do similar things on the PS2, they would have to program them in the software. The PS2 had no hardware features, everything had to be done in the software.
However, seeing as, by this time, I'm pretty sure the PS2 already had 50 million units sold, the developers would always focus on developing the PS2 version first, and then porting that version to the other two consoles. If they had the time, they could take advantage of different hardware features, if not, they basically ported the PS2 version, and got it to run the best they could. PS2 was the main focus, and the Xbox and GC ports were the afterthoughts. That's just how that generation played out in most multi-platform ports. Basically, the games were first designed to run on the PS2's weird architecture, and then ported to the other two with their more traditional architecture. If they had time, they would optimize, and make them look and run better, but if they didn't, things like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 happened where the rare case of the PS2 version being the best running, best playing version of the game.
Good
Xbox version is so much better LOL the frame rate on the ps2 was so bad. Great game no matter the platform though.
Xbox- Looks the best and arguably runs the best
GameCube- Looks the worst, but might run better than the PS2
PS2- Better-looking than the GameCube, but worse-looking than the Xbox. Maybe the worst performance, if not equal with the GameCube.
I had this on the PS2! I love this channel!
in the GameCube version there’s no multiplayer, and some of the gun sounds are much different from the Xbox, and ps2 version.
I like the PS2 version
I am playing the XBOX version, it is my favorite of the gen 6 console CoDs
Xbox is better in everything, however, between ps2 and gamecube, textrues and graphics are slightly better on ps2 but gamecube runs smoother
Can you do Call Of Duty?
I already played call of duty a long time ago it was on the PlayStation 2 that I played at the time
The ps2 version is too damned slow, even on composite. It's not as slow as most games but compared to frontline, it's just...ugh.
Xbox looks better
Very good Xbox
Xbox is 👍
Very disappointed in the Gamecube version. Bad showoff of the hardware.
Play 2
what about pc version?
This game is not for PC, though no one knows about this game expect for real fans of CoD series.
@Kotrolss 2_0 Yea, I was looking to get this game on PC until I found out it was a console exclusive. Damn shame since this is the best of the classic cods, in my opinion.
Xbox wins easily since Xbox 360 can play it because of backwards compatibility.
❤
Xbox has always been better
That's a bad GameCube port right there LOL
PS2
Xbox wins!
PS2: ok
Gamecube: meh
Xbox: Much better
Take off your rose tinted glasses and recognize that the PS2 version is slow as mollases. Graphics are good. Now if someone could go back in time and tell Rebellion to stay away from Final front's I'll be happy. I wish there was a way to use an Xbox controller on PS2 because FF is over sensitive
PS2>XBOX>Game Cube
no, it's Xbox > GameCube > PS2
No way it’s it’s Xbox > PS2 > GameCube
