Gigi was an amazing queen but Jaida never missed a runway. She brought it every single time the whole entire season. Also she excelled in challenges. Remember tons of amazing queens went on to bigger things after not winning 🤷🏾♂️
Sure, but did you see the singing/dancing challenge? They literally had to hide Jaida’s mistakes and you could see it on the corners of the camera that she couldn’t dance or keep up, and her singing was flat and just awful. The judges didn’t mention her dancing or singing. Jaida got special treatment. I have no idea how she managed to choreograph herself for the finale.

I loooove Jaida and will never discredit her win. She deserved it 100% and when she popped that crown over her head in the finale lip-sync I was gagged. Love her. Gigi deserved to win too. Either winning would have been a slay, but Gigi is just so creative too. IDK if she would ever do AS but damn she should and could win. Her Madonna rusical number is stuck with me as one of the best. Maybe because she was also my fav era of Madonna but it slapped so hard. We love a confident queen!!!
From what I remember of the season, Gigi did really good early in the season because she played all her cards early and then fell off near the end, while Jaida was building up more near the end. The way I saw it, Jaida was on an incline while Gigi was on a decline and I'm happy Jaida got the crown

I am very conflicted by this season, I loved it and I hated it. And at the finale I thought Gigi was going to win, only to crown Jayda who is one of the most polished girls ever. It is just a very production-heavy season.
The way they tried to frame willam’s disqualification as “breaking the rules” and then blatantly forgiving this is really just sad. I loved Gigi but that’s some privileged BS on her part.

They were saying vile things about the queens of color and overall being disrespectful. They wouldn’t provide vegan/vegetarian options. And Willam fought against this a lot. Two: Willam was breaking a different rule. Because they wouldn’t provide any real decent food, Willam and a few other queens (I forget who) would leave and go out to buy food. Or they would go shopping if I remember correctly. Three: Willam wanted to leave to go on to another show. There might have a been some other reasons, but the whole “conjugal visits” was a cover up just for appearances. You can look up this here on CZcams to find out more, but yeah. Just to let you know

Im so saddened by the fact that nobody even like acknowledges Jaida as a winner. I went to the Christmas show several queens put together and everyone cheered for Trinity and Willam and even Lala when Monet couldnt make it. Jaida did a more soul full song and the audience made me feel uncomfortable to cheer like I wanted to and Jaida was giving her all and no one was responding. I’m so sad I was in the back that night I wish she could’ve seen my face. And she won because her at home shoot was a music video in a living room, she was embodying Ciera and she *killed* it. When you break the rules, just because you go back and do it the right way doesn’t mean you get a free pass. Unfortunately she did here, but when you break a production rule, especially one for safety, you’re not just putting yourself in a dangerous situation, & would be fired from any company. That was literally the finale, why disqualify her? She actually didnt win because “she was disqualified”. She had the most wins both main challenges and mjni challenges and was on top since the beginning, on top of that, she was a fan favorite. BUT she broke the rules 🤷🏻♂️
She could have practiced singing or dancing before entering the competition, though. I don’t know how she didn’t have to lip sync on the episode where both were required. The runway shouldn’t have saved her when others had glowing critiques.

I feel that as long as Gigi re-did her lip sync in her own home, she is not eligible for disqualification.
When you break the rules, just because you go back and do it the right way doesn’t mean you get a free pass. Unfortunately she did here, but when you break a production rule, especially one for safety, you’re not just putting yourself in a dangerous situation, & would be fired from any company. If she had followed the rules from the jump, this wouldn’t have been an issue

No hate towards Jaida but I truly thought this season was gigi”s to win. After hearing this tea it kind of makes sense because I remember watching the finale and being absolutely godsmacked that Gigi lost. Not because I wanted her to win. ( I was team crystal) but because the season really seemed like it was gigis. Kind of like how this past season seemed like saphira was gonna take the crown but they ended up giving it to nymphia even though she didn’t get as many wins as saphira.

this rumor is kinda baseless. it feels like it want to invalidate jaida's win because "if gigi didnt cheat, gigi would've have won". and also gigi is a very talented and creative queen. she is the walking studio herself. she dont need extra help. especially in time of covid where you should stay at home
That was literally the finale, why disqualify her? She actually didnt win because “she was disqualified”. She had the most wins both main challenges and mjni challenges and was on top since the beginning, on top of that, she was a fan favorite. BUT she broke the rules 🤷🏻♂️

Season 12 was meant for her.
She could have practiced singing or dancing before entering the competition, though. I don’t know how she didn’t have to lip sync on the episode where both were required. The runway shouldn’t have saved her when others had glowing critiques.
I feel like she also was disqaulified but in silence because of the situation Sith sherry and the virus. So she never got that chance at the Crown and was just there doe entertainment purposes

It’s clear to Everyone Gigi was set to win the season and Jaida as runner up. Gigi slayed that season but then after sherry and other hectic things happening production went with Jaida.
Sorry but Jaida won the moment she walked in with that amazing turquoise outfit. It's probably my favourite of any entrance look. Gigi was my winner, though, but Jaida definitely deserved her win.
