Venom bro, the rtx 4080 and 4090 laptop gpus are supposed to draw their maximum power of 175 watts under full load. They are not like the 4050, 4060 and 4070. The problem here is that the gpu cooling system in this laptop is not good, that forces the 4080 to use less power in order to reduce temperatures. That is also why your temperatures were so close to throttling levels, it is because the laptop was already reducing power in advance to avoid throttling.
Very True, look at MSI's top end 4080/4090 laptops, they draw close to their advertised TGP. ASUS's laptops especially when they claim to use top-of-the-line Liquid Metal on their CPUs and GPUs (in some models) have appalling thermals. I am not sure that in a year when thermals will worsen and you wanted to do a repasting (which ASUS does in their service centers), if liquid metal can be applied (as it's originally applied through special machinery in a factory).
@@santhnu Asus's factory LM application is garbage, it's not evenly spread and has a lot of hotspots or uncovered spots on the die. Better to just open and re-spread LM correctly.

Bruv This video's gaming results are utter bullshit, period! Maybe his MSI Afterburner is glitching or he hasn't updated his GPU driver yet. I have been using this laptop for about a month now. I have the non-mini-LED variant. This beast draws 175 watts in almost every game I tested, and one thing I noticed in the video is that he isn't describing the specs correctly. His laptop has the mini-LED panel. You can notice this when he opens the armory crate and shows the options in system configuration: "multi zone backlight control." Comparing the price of these laptops, it's better to go with the mini-LED one, which just costs 5,000 more than the standard Nebula display. but when I was trying to purchase this laptop, it wasn't available at that time. I'll recommend you guys to go and watch another review of this laptop. It's performing way better than the results shown in this video,Adios!

Upar laptops mein 40,000 ka farak hai. Is it worth for the above or should i go for Strix Scar 15? Will be very helpful or should i go for any other?
