(The journal I use is from a Dutch bookstore called BoekenVoordeel; it's not from a specific brand. I use the cheapest clear hobby glue I could find at the mall, it's simple glue for kids lol)

This is proof that anyone can do a mindful and relaxing, ripping, cutting , mixing, shredding piece of art.
Who cares if no one else likes it or even sees it.
Pity I wasn't taught like this at school a hundred years ago.
Art is a great healer and balm for the soul.
@@qso3566 I disagree, unfortunately because of that mindset it puts people off either doing anything arty or creative, or it turns individuals who have an interest in art / crafts into perfectionists, which can suck the enjoyment out of it. Being ‘good’ at art is subjective, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all, the point of art - & especially crafts / combining the two, means expressing oneself, letting go, being free. The reason many feel they aren’t able to do that isn’t because they can’t, but because they feel it must ‘look’ perfect - it doesn’t, that’s the entire point of creativity. It’s why we let children do art - it’s to express themselves, it’s therapeutic & relaxing.
I was worried i wasnt going to like it with no background music or anything, but holy shit. I loved it! It was so satisfying to watch, i art journal myself and you are giving me tons of inspiration, thank you! 🖤
I added wrinkles to the gold foil in the beginning on purpose okay :( I do it to show myself that nothing's bad going to happen if it's not perfect, so please please stop commenting about it. It's really starting to mess with me and my unhealthy perfectionism💔
Those who are criticizing are just jealous of your true talent. Ignore those and feel more confident that millions of people also like you.

This is amazing!! U making me want to get back into art journaling I ended up stopping since my book is a big stretch book and I felt like I have to fill the whole page so after some time I stopped and I wasn’t inspired by anything but now I am and I’m going to get up now and do a new layout thank you for this video it really inspired me and I love using lyrics . Lyrics is the number one piece of art that inspires me and will help me create some really beautiful pieces of art ✨🖤✨
This was a peaceful and inspiring watch! I'll be honest, I was watching at 2x speed and consequently LOL'ed at 4:09 when you started daubbing black paint with a sponge because at 2x speed it sounds like a rabid sewing machine!! 😂 I will definitely be back for more when I need to boost my art journaling mojo!
