Funny how the writer of the documentary and Stravinsky end up looking like bullshit flies or something like it while Profofiev remains a great artist with a force-of-nature-like personality.
And his first wife was a foreigner (born in Spain) with friends in the american embassy. I'm not supporting her arrest by any mean but in Stalin's time people got killed for less, she had some tough years but survived. The fact that their children held their father in high regard says a lot
