Trespass is a civil matter and aggregated trespass can only occur if there is a court order in force naming you in the order! A general order cannot be enforced> The Councils have found this out, when travellers camp on council property and they have not named individuals!

Where you agreed to walk away so that they could "have (their) words" - having private conversations with the 'complainants' is contrary to policing policy that has been around for many decades. Part of the evidence for an arrest for trespassing to prevent a breach of tge peace is "...I spoke to the complainant in the presence and hearing, and he said.... I then spoke to the tresspasser in the presence and hearing of the complainant". The evudence goes on with warnings to leave, advising the complainant they must physically remove the trespasser, and the outcome. Arrest wss never an aim, only if the tresspasser resisted. Otherwise it was simply sdvising parties and prevention of breach of the peace. Most self respecting cops reserved their arresting for burglars, even bent coppers hated arresting for trivial matters. How things have changed, sadly.
Cameras are everywhere even the BBC films and broadcasts this area to the World inside the buildings too. These security guards here and elsewhere show an ignorance of the law and seem to make it up as they seem fit. It would be interesting to film their training program for recruits with all having similar behavior patterns across the country. Who determines the content of the training

Under the Data Protection Act 2018 it has to be free. Prior to that they were allowed to charge up to £10.
You can get the CCTV from the Camra which is on that Hogwarts Castle looking building.
