Although I like Jack, please don't do sponsorships for BetterHelp in the future. They sell all of your user information, including what mental illnesses/anxieties that you fill out in their questionnaires to advertising companies so that they can sell that information to target add you personally. And they also had that huge scandal a few years ago of not having enough high quality properly qualified therapists

Jack a lot of therapists have gone on record talking about how your sponsor is unethical, and there are a lot of horror stories about it as well. Please look into it, as people just looking for help could end up being harmed.

From what I understand there was controversy surrounding the app years ago because their TOS said that they didn’t actually check to see if there were hiring actual therapists or not (or something to that degree). However, if you check their current TOS, they do now require everyone they hire to be a certified therapist/councilor.
@@Riqakard they also sell your info in a very icky way. Like everything you say in the check in quizz at the start to find a therapist and treatment is sold like to facebook and others so if you put « depression » they pump ads for vacations, « bulimia » ads for fit teas, etc.

Have they improved recently? I’ve been seeing a lot more sponsorships with a lot less negative comments, so have they made changes to the company or did people just give up? Genuinely curious.
@@eq4742 Apparently they've improved from their originally deeply abusive system where they sold patient data to advertisers. However they still underpay their therapists and don't do enough to ensure their quality of qualifications nor a baseline level of inclusions training with them.
