    Can we just discuss the fact that shanzeh is supposed to be this modern, fashionable, it-girl type, but dresses horribly across the board and ends up looking more paindu than mahjabeen.

      Her makeup at the mall was so gorgeous and so was her rolled hair. That navy blue velvet she wore on the day following her wedding also suited her and her hair was so lustrous in that scene. The rest of the times she doesn't come close to Mahjabeen.

    The problem I have with Abdullah Shanzey track is that Shanzey was not wrong in rejecting Abdullah back then..he was stalking her, blackmailing her and legit brought an army to her place when she categorically rejected him time and again..Also he wasnt her ideal choice..which should have been fine... To show her suffering because she rejected Abdullah is a bit overrated..Mahjabeen and Abdullah mashallah are such cuties and pure couple..so I'm a bit disappointed that the show has shifted focus to love triangle so soon..

      @n.s.1170 Před 4 lety +1

      I completely agree with all the points u’ve made. I just thought shanzey was brought in to highlight the notion “you should marry someone who is in love with u, rather than who we’re in love with” - Abdullah would’ve respected shanzey just as mahjabeen puts Abdullah up on a pedestal. Also Abdullah towards the end turns into a version of Issa where he is also not happy with his wife and belittles her for “his ideal”

    I agree with Hassan's review of PKS. I also didn't like Shanzay's entry and the change of Abdullah's behavior towards Mahjabeen. She is giving her best in the relationship but shanzay's ruining their chemistry. Their relationship on its own was developing beautifully.

    • @syedanazishasim3412
      @syedanazishasim3412 Před 4 lety +6

      I think Shanzay's entry was needed at this point. We can obviously see that now Sarwar has got a " warning signal" from his wife so he can't continue interfering in Abdullah's life the way he was doing before. He still will continue his passive aggressive behaviour by manipulating Abdullah but he is very careful now and will make sure that he doesn't get exposed to his wife completely. He can't afford getting kicked out of Mansoora's life and house.

    • @fudgeSg
      @fudgeSg Před 4 lety +2

      Also shanzeh's entry is probably intended from script point of view cos it shows the vulnerability of people like Abdullah whose inherent natures can be taken advantage of and feelings played with. Shanzeh knows what she's doing when Abd and M are with her. She's aware he's a married man and has moved on but she's toying still. Sigh. Human nature. It's v real and so yeah it's necessary.

    The title itself is giving the wrong message because it is making women sound like "home breakers." It's the husband who cheats on a woman, not the co-wife. For me, It's all on the husband if he wants to fulfill his marriage or not. If a husband cheats on his wife, it is his fault only. We can't blame the "other woman" for "influencing" him because the husband is an adult who can take responsibility of his own actions.
    What if Mahjabeen decides to give Hammad a second chance?
    Will we hate Mahjabeen or Dr Hammad?
    Will we start calling Dr Hammad the "home breaker?"
    When women people don't blame the "other man" but when a man cheats, people shame the "other woman" more than the man who promised to spend the rest of his life with a woman.
    These are double standards.
    And this allows the man to come back and accuse "the other woman" of "influencing" him even though in most cases, married men make the first step. Yet, women are shamed for not rejecting the married man.

Matlab in the morning you are looking like *that* at one person and shaam tak its someone else, doesn’t say anything good about your character tbh. If he isn’t totally retarded (in which case the drama loses appeal anyways) he should be VERY clear on his priority and his wife

Had she visited that well, or her home again and recalled something, it would’ve made more sense). Half of the scene of mir farooq beating neelofar was copy pasted from a past episode. In PKS I'm with Hasan there was no need of now Shanzy's entrance again in Abdullah's life . Earlies they portray Shanzy as a strong girl then why does she agree to marry such a stupid guy even before marriage she has felt that .and it seems as Mahjabeen is stronger than Shanzy in some ways she takes quick actions. As she went to collect her things from her old fiance and after she was standing with Abdullah when he was upset ( Sarwer has insulted him) she is ready to fight for her husband
    And what a stupid thing, in one scene they show Shanzy comes to meet her father it's day after marriage, usi din nashta lany ka scene hay , aur usi din Abdullah milny chala jata hay and she is night suit , it doesn't make any sense , and they meet in mall , and Shanzy was talking as if 1 month has passed to her marriage and she feels lonely . All separate things and scenes but events are not coherent at all . It was a good drama but some flaws are there. Really loved Abdullah' s sister, she is a courouges girl.
    I think they should stop showing in our dramas physical abuse of husband on wife , why a wife a woman is beaten, it gives wrong message to our public specially men.

    And still what Anna is doing to prove his father innocence, doing nothing just dreaming ( it's boring now to show her dream again and again ) . And what's the point of Amman's survival and his all efforts if they r saying he could die, it seems Amman has not exactly planned how to fight next step with Mir Farooq, why he is not telling Anna about his father's 2nd marriage .

In spite of this,it will eventually make abdullah and mahjabeen more closer emotionally. They are surely going to get dettached as per yumna ‘s interview and as bilal mentioned (in your interview ) that the story, their love life, will go through a lot emotional conundrum and their will be lot of aansu (tears).
    So we have to prepare ourselves with this emotional ride.

    I have to appluad the writer of Pyar Ke Sadqey for depicting Sarwar's shades in this episode. he's no longer emotionally abusing Abdullah but now 'through love and empathy'- as Hassan's father in Sabaat says- is able to convince Abdullah to go after Shanzey. It suggests to me the extent of which Sarwar can go to sabotage Majabeen and Abdullah's relationship. Simialrly with Shanzey, as a viewer i am able to empathize with the abusive relationship with her husband YET call her out for chasing after Abdullah (a married man).

    So far i am not annoyed by Shanzeys character... obviously Sarwar needs muhry he cant do everythng on his own and he clearly failed in keeping mahjabeen and abdullah away for long... now he is playing through Shanzey. But i agree with Amna they shouldnot drag this track and i hope this ends up evolving abdullah's and mahjabeen chemistry.

    It was important to show Shanze's intervention in the story to show genuine love development in the hero heroine relationship. Because Shanze was the 1st love of the hero. Right now it looks like he is having the affection towards the heroine by compromise. But only when he will realize the true affection towards the heroine after his heart leans towards her, even when his so called 1st love or infatuation was available to him.

    Yesssss i agree with what Amna has to say there was an important development with Aina's character, she finally is reminiscing those memories but Hum should give Aina more screen time, she rarely has any scenes, and its not just ydm but usually Farhat Ishtiaqs dramas have the female lead sidelined either be it Aina or Dr. Zubiya Khalil. They might be the strongest female protagonists but we cannot really disagree that they weren't sidelined and didnot usually have that much of screen time in comparison to the male leads.

    that was a movie..so all this has been shown in a really fast pace..but in a drama..ofcors it they do not want to end the story soo fast..
    maybe as amna said.. abdullah will realize later that he and mahjabeen are the ones meant for each other..

I think everyone should learn from ALIF... one of the rare dramas that had a surprising finale personally for me because I was shocked that it was ending at 25! Some of these dramas that are so beautifully written and story wise are at par with international storylines could seriously be recommended to non-Pakistani viewers but if only they stopped at 20.

    Mahjabeen is clearly confuse by Abdullah’s behavior because he is not treating her as caring as he used to treat her and she is also jealous of shanzae. It was very important to show to let Mahjbeen character to grow and become more sensible. They cannot end up a drama on a little married girl who cannot take care to herself. Now, she will try her best to get her man back in during that process she will become more mature.....( all my opinion)

    Yeh dil mera's unnecessary drag is literally getting on my nerves, Why do they have to repeat the same flashbacks again and again, Yes Bua jee had to tell Natty Khala they could have just shown her telling Natty khala everything whilst the conversation being muted and fast forwarded also in this episode when finally Bua jee wasn't really dragging so came the chacha. I am so sad with where Ye dil mera is leading, also idk but the story doesnot seem to be ending in 3 episodes only that seems near to impossible, i am sad to see an amazing drama becoming a trash at its end. Ye dil mera.. too dragged, totally agree there was nothing as such.. buaji and natty made us nuts. Also i started watching pyar kay sadqay because of you guys, really enjoying it but by the last episode which is the 17th i feel its already dragged out! i mean ok we got the gist, how many times they need to show abdullah getting humiliated, yumna doing stupid things.. Now there will be couple of episodes with this shanzay character.. its getting exhausting.. But Yumna and Bilal have done excellent!
