- This is the makeup declutter to end all makeup declutters. I started my big makeup use up back in 2020 and since then I've decluttered my makeup collection and used empties videos and project pan challenges to motivate me in using up all my makeup. And the results are pretty extreme! Now I'm doing one final makeup declutter in this journey of getting rid of all my makeup and living with a more minimal makeup collection. Here goes!

I always pull everything (even from my purses) when doing a big declutter. Not because you'll get rid of them, but you could have compared them to the other ones in your stash, and that could have helped you figure out which ones you could part with easier because it's a similar color to the ones you like more.
Totally agree with this and usually I would. But I only have a couple of lipsticks in my purse right now (I’m trying to get into the habit of putting them back in the drawer when I get home 🙈) so I knew exactly what was there ☺️

Maybe you can incorporate the bronzer as eyeshadow or eyebrow powder?

I have a huge collection but it does help me to not purchase makeup knowing I don't need to anymore. I used to over buy.
It takes time but eventually it starts to get smaller 🤩

I always try to get every last ounce out of my makeup. It’s amazing how much more product is left after you think it’s empty
I love watching decluttering videos even if there is nothing to declutter 😂, just the idea makes me very enthusiastic. You are lucky to have someone who can take the makeup that you are decluttering. I have only boys around me and I cannot give everything to a stranger… It’s way more complicated. Help! What can I do? We are not even allowed to sell that on eBay for health reasons obviously.
I’m the same! I could watch declutter videos all day 🤩 Could you offer them to friends? I always try to give away what I can but if I can’t find anyone, I just throw it out. I hate the waste but if you’re not going to use it then there’s no use in keeping it around

Throw that bronzer away. You don't like it. The lid is broken. It is too dark. Toss it. You are worth more than using a bad bronzer!

I’ve been using it as an eyeshadow this week. It’s a bit too warm for me but when I mix it with a cream colour, it works great!

Its ok to let go of the bronzer. It’s way too dark for you. Treat yourself to nice new bronzer that you will enjoy using.😊

Aimee Rebecca please for me clean your makeup i am a registered nurse and i have treated people with severe infections from dirty old makeup and now please all i ask is either trow away old out of date products or clean them with a disinfectant from amazon you can spray them eyeshadows then leave them to dry before storing , but do clean then its really important . i change my mascara and eyeliner every three months and i am pedantic about it ! . so just for me ! i don’t want to be mean in fact not at all , i just want to help you , so let me please . i have been a fan for ages well after you came back from the med ! and you split from your man i went through it with you and yes it hurt ! so and then when you went to overseas again and that noise ! it was awful ! and that heat ! i could have been there with you ! but i am so happy you came home ! hugs liz xxxx
Aww thanks for looking out for me Liz 🥰 don’t worry - I know it doesn’t look like it because everything I own is covered in orange foundation fingerprints but I give everything a good clean at least once a fortnight but more often once a week. I got a bad reaction years ago from using a makeup sponge that wasn’t clean and now I’m paranoid! I keep all my brushes and sponges on rotation and disinfect them because I don’t want to go through that again 🙈 I learned my lesson! Xxx

@@melanierimmer1744 I spray my pressed powder with rubbing alcohol each time I clean my brushes (which I need to get better about doing more frequently)
I keep thinking about all those red lip products you kept and said that you only use red lipstick like 6 times a year. How many uses does it take to get through a lip product, usually more than 100? And if you're only using it 6 ish times a year that's over 16 years worth of red lipstick in just ONE tube. Still sure you wanna keep like 6?😂

The majority of it is in good shape but anything with a flimsy hinge is not safe around me. I’m a dropper!
