I had a DMT experience once that sent me to eternity and meeting the creator. My ego dissolved yet I was physically terrified. It was so magical and so full of love, changed my life for good. In the most positive way possible.

Hard to control people when they can think for themselves and realize whats going on. For everyone who doesn't know, toad venom is 5MEO-DMT, which is very different than NN-DMT, which is usually what people refer to when they say "DMT". NN-DMT is also the active compound in ayahuasca, however ayahuasca is ingested in part with an MAOI, which allows your body to digest the DMT. Ayahuasca trips are like NN-DMT trips that last 8 hours instead of the smoked version which lasts around 10 minutes.

I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area. I suffer some pretty bad anxiety and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free, the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did

Back in the early 90's I was like 8 or 9 and Mike stopped what he was doing at an airport and walked over to me for a picture cause he heard me ask my dad if I thought he would pose in front of my dad's camera for me. That photo is one of my most cherished items. That's the champ.

You know, it can be very hard to even formulate thoughts much less words around these experiences...
To be fair he was leading mike to answers that he had already given in past interviews. With that context, you can see that dan was trying to make sure tyson spoke on the right content for the narrative. The whole shutting the ego off thing, was a revelation that came about from the jre interview. Dan leading him to that was good imo bc it allowed mike to respond to it and speak it again for the audience to hear
that moment you realize that Mike Tyson is more Intellectually and emotionally advanced then Neil Degrasse Tyson.
For sure, Neil is a man who's never let go of his ego, in as much as an anonymous internet user can observe. Neil is dogmatic in his ways, same as a religious fundamentalist is, despite the clear polarity.
