Really cool. Perhaps consider adding a module that makes unwanted small-talk and uses only volatile memory.

This is scary for us Hairdressers. With the way technology is advancing, I'm afraid that one day all of us will be out of jobs due to AI. It's a depressing thought

I believe that the hairdresser job is one of those that can not be replaced by robots. Robots might succeed in replacing painters or sculptors, but human heads are far more complex than canvasses or chunks of wood, and there is also the risk of injury which makes the situation more complicated.

Nah, robots, no matter how advanced, won't replace hairstylist. I can tell you right now that I wouldn't ever trust a robot using a straight razor for a hot towel shave 😳🔪😂

Can the machine compensate if the person does not sit perfectly still?

It looks like there is a screen in front of you with a camera telling you exactly when you are sitting right.

No. Step 3A (not shown) is to place the head-catching bucket on the side of the person's dominant hand because that's generally the direction in which heads fall off.

Maybe you can put something that steadies the head like when you got to the optometrist. They have like a head band that you put your forehead into. Very cool ideal. Also, there is a old product called the flowbee which sucks while it cuts. This might prevent injury while cutting the top of the head. Keep going.

all you need to prevent injury to the head is a guard. soft tissues like ears require real solutions

You should have learned in your discrete mathematics course that the infinite series of days extending off into the future is countable, e.g. "numbered". The barber profession isn't going anywhere.
