I am a big fan of nootropic energy drinks, so when I heard about Gorilla Mind Energy drink potentially being one of the best ones out there, I was skeptical. Not too long ago, 1st Phorm said they were the best energy drink on the planet and I haven't heard much else about it. But thats what these energy drink companies do. They say they are the best to get you to buy them. At some point though, there will need to be a best so is Gorilla Mind the best nootropic energy drink out there?
From its ingredients list, it certainly has a lot listed. Will all of these ingredients affect the taste of the energy drink though? A lot of times if a company puts in too many supplements into their energy drink, you can taste it. It will be interesting to see what we get out of Gorilla Mind Energy drink.
Gorilla Mind has started out. with 4 energy drink flavors. Arctic White, Orange Rush, Black Cherry Vanilla and Exotic Kiwi. From an article I read they plan on releasing a new flavor every month! Now that is a lofty goal, but if its a good drink, a goal we will all look forward to.

Derek, I’m a fan of your channel but you are clearly copying Ghost Energy cans with the label. Have some originality man.
@@MrJonathanBaugh they look no where near the same.. ghost has a bright coloured textured can, with a long logo that goes down the can and little characters printed in the bright colour. Negative Nelly grasping at straws ! Doesn’t look close at all in my opinion and is a solid design.

The Arctic flavor may have Erythritol due to it being known to have a bit of "cooling" effect, which is perfect for something that is aiming for an "Arctic" type of flavor

Back in like 2006. Coca Cola had a Black Cherry Vanilla and to this day I grieve it because i'm not a BIG cola guy, but that was the best flavor coke ever came out with.
Its a shame when they try out new drinks, people like them and then they get discontinued. Sort of pulls the rug out from underneath you!

There’s been off and on stories lately for erythritol being possibly bad. I don’t worry about it. Interestingly enough,
I’ve noticed that these arctic/ice/frost flavors of any brand seem to have erythritol exclusively in the ingredients rather than in other flavors of the same brands. 🧐

Seems like I have to try these once I head overseas! Great ratings throughout the whole lineup! Are you able too get them anywhere physically?
Currently they are only online but hopefully as popularity grows it will get into stores.
That Arctic White flavor is just amazing. Really leagues better than even alani white, ghost citrus (which I think you ranked too high), and especially monster white which is god awful. The only problem with this line is all the flavors give me really bad stomach cramps and I'm in the bathroom - a problem I don't have with any other line besides some of the old bang flavors.
These sound very promising! Three in the mid 9s and a mid 8 on the first try is very impressive
Derek has been known to be VERY critical of other energy drinks so he knows he will be under the same scrutiny and proved he knows what he's talking about.
MPMD has an awesome channel and big supp company. Not surprised he came out with his own energy drink, heard even Mr. Beast is dropping their own energy drink.

I tried the Artic White so far . To me to has a SLIGHTLY similarity to Mountain Dew white out , but Gorila Mind taste way better ......
I'd suggest putting the Artic White in the freezer ( after chilled ) for about 10 minutes to get that super crisp taste that will have ur tastebuds jumping for joy , especially on a hot summer day .

I recently tried (I’m assuming a new flavor) of their drink called lychee bomb and this stuff W O R K S, I like it far more than ghost, redcon, CFour, and a few others I used to drink
Although some of the other Gorilla Minds scored slightly higher than the Lychee Bomb, the Lychee Bomb IS my favorite.
I ordered the orange flavor. It’s really good and the focus/energy feels nice. They’re selling out. Strawberry just came out. I ordered a case. 😂🦍🧠

In Uzbekistan we have only Gorilla Energy in five flavors: lychee, mango, orange, pomegranate and original one which tastes like shit. Hate it but it kicks a bit faster than the rest of the drinks on the shelves.
Question? I've heard you discuss that you try to stay near or below the 400 mg a day limit but I've also heard you say you don't drink many 300mg drinks even though that keeps you under 400. Is this because you don't want to be limited to one a day or because you think 300 over the course of one can is too much even if over the course of the day you are still below 400
300 was created when Preworkout hit the market. 300 is used to give you a hard powerful boost of energy all at one time (for working out). Unfortunately, these drinks became so popular people started using them as regular energy drinks, when all they really need is a 150-200mgs drink to get the energy they need. 300 is excessive. And thats just in general. Me, personally, like to have additional options during the day. If not another energy drinks, several cups of tea. Im a big fan of tea. And even though 400 is the max, I don't like to always hit the max. I'll cycle my caffeine. If you didnt see it, I did a video on cycling caffeine which also goes over the half-life of caffeine and other topics.

Has anyone experienced brain fog, and if so, how did you remedy it? I'm thinking about trying nootropics, is normotim a good option?
Brain fog and energy drinks are an interesting topic and its all a matter of what could be causing your brain fog. Lots of things can potentially cause brain fog. One of them could be a simple lack of sleep. If you drink energy drinks to help you stay up later to study or just keeping you awake longer, the energy drinks won't help, even if they have nootropics. On the other hand, a B-Vitamin deficiency could lead to brain fog, in which case an energy drink high in B Vitamins could be helpful. Thats are just a couple of examples.

This has gotten a lot of hype because of Derek and his channel. He has always been critical of energy drinks so he knew people would be just as critical, if not more, if he were to make one. He knows what he's doing though !
Gorilla Mind is very quickly overtaking Ghost as my favorite brand! Wish I could find the Kiwi flavor but I'm always so happy to find the Sour Watermelon Candy!

@@dgator75 No problem!!! Its understandable since it has orange in the title, but I really do think they're in a class by themself and, in my last creamsicle review, there was a decent amount on the list. Not just orange creamsicle, but strawberry and berries and cream and so forth.
C4 has a lower level of L Tyrosine.. I had a bad experience with G Fuel PAC-Man.. I felt way too focused to the point of standing up and pacing.. Pac-Man Pacing 😂

I question the validity of these rankings after seeing Ghost Citrus ranked 9+. That flavor sucks
I usually don’t like lemon lime energy drinks but I like the Ghost Citrus. Usually the Ghosts are too sweet but that one isn’t.
Gorilla Mind is copying Ghost, clearly. These guys have no originality.
Interesting to hear that. I didnt think they sounded much alike at all. They use fairly different ingredients and the flavors are also fairly different. Considering a lot of energy drinks typically share similar ingredients, Gorilla mind seemed to stand out from being fairly different than the rest. What similarities did you see.... besides both companies scoring great on the CaffeineMan rating chart. 😂
@@CaffeineMan1 I agree, they are not even close to the same. The can, flavors and color aren’t the same at all. Where I see strong similarities are the side of the can with the Legendary Energy, Epic Focus and the nootropics ingredients. If you hold the cans side by side they have similarities that can’t be coincidence, even underlining the word to the logo, in the same direction.
Ahhh!!!! I see what you mean now. Didn't someone make a video about that too? Someone pointed me to a video and I put it on my "watch Later" list and never got around to watching the entire thing. It was shot similar to a movie trailer and the guy talked like a gangster...something about a lawsuit, which I didnt see anything online about so I thought it was a spoof.
That being said, coming from a graphic design background, there is limited amount of space on a can for advertising. With the front and back being similar to all cans; Front, logo and flavor / Back, Nutrition Facts and ingredients, it only leaves a small amount of vertical space to work with. There are bound to be some similarities. SOME similarities CLOSER than others. Fairly similar.
