I use the same type of pigment and versagel with some oils, at first the lip oil is doing fine but after couple days the pigment will settle at the bottom. did you experience this ? if so do you have advice to prevent it ? thanks
you might be adding too much of your oils, so the pigment is separating. try testing out lessening how much oil and pigment youβre using β‘

have you tried using mica? If so, how do we prevent the separation?
i have not used mica for lip oils but my best guess would be just watching how much you add and taking it little by little β‘
Mix the mica with the oils first then add to the gloss babe

yes of course, mix and match the recipe as you please β‘!

it shouldnβt as long as you donβt add too much oils at a time. i would add the oils in increments until you have found your desired result β‘ !

Hello what oil can i use instead of coconut or almond oil?? How do u put that it contains nut oils for those with allergies. The tub is so tiny. Thank u
you can use sunflower oil, safflower oil, grapeseed, etc, there are many different substitutes. i do not put ingredients on the tubes, i put them in the description/ ingredients list on my website. if you would like to add ingredients with the actual product i would suggest getting a box that you can add the ingredients list to.
Does the pigment transfer to the lips or is it transparent on the lips?
it depends on how much pigment you use β‘

hi, to get writing on your own tubes you have to create the design, that can be done on canva, phonto, or any editor. then you will either have to find a vendor and communicate with them or create labels to stick onto your tubes. you can try etsy for labels/vendors or print your own with using avery labels.

45% versagel
18% - oil one

you can get custom tubes from both etsy or alibaba (i use alibaba)! you can also print clear labels to stick onto your tubes to save money β‘

How to just make clear with fruity flavor
Hi I use a glitter pigment as well as a liquid pigment but the glitter pigment falls to the bottom and changes the color of my oil. Is there anyway I could prevent that? And I hope your business is going amazing!π₯°
hi, it might be due to your oil to glitter ratio. you might need to lower how much oil you use by a little bit β‘
Nice but how is this different from lipgloss if you stull used the lipgloss base??
they differ in texture. i use more oils for my lip oils than i do my lipglosses (4 for glosses ; 8+ for hydrators). my lip oils are for those who want a lightweight option with the shine of a gloss. however, this is just my formula, you can make your own lip oil with just oils.

i like to keep mine around a ration of 60% versagel and 40% oils. i wouldnβt recommend making the oils any more than 50% off the recipe β‘

ofc, itβs my pleasure. i use some of same ingredients as well for my glosses! i had so many mess ups with the pigment and oil separating π; you just got to play around with it, i like to write everything down in a journal β‘!

So, isnβt this more of a lip gloss that a lip oil? π€ I have that question because, ive seen lip oil and they tend to be more runny. And Lip gloss texture is obviously thicker. I just want to know, at what point is considered a lip gloss or a lip oil? π΅βπ«π΅βπ«π΅βπ« help please
hi, so i personally make our lip oils on the thicker side just bc that is something i prefer for our products, it helps hold color + our scents better, especially since this will be shipped so i want to ensure our product matches our pictures. also when i was personally testing out recipes, i didnβt like super thin textures and liked the sense of still being able to actually feel the lip oil on my lips (if that makes sense π₯²).
though our lip oils may be thicker than some, its still has a lighter application on the lips compared to our lipglosses. theyβre made with quite a few more oils than our regular glosses (why itβs called a lip oil lol), making it more hydrating/nourishing, which is the main difference. even though our lipglosses arenβt super thick or sticky, you can definitely feel the difference.
this is just a basic guideline for making them, you can make them as thin/runny as you like tho! itβs all up to personal preference β‘
