- COMPTON - Cousins, Bay Loc from Nutty Blocc and Wicked Loc from Raymond Street Compton Crips, grew up together on Amantha Street on the westside of Compton in the same house.
In 2008, Wicked Loc was shot by the Compton Sheriff's Department and was pronounced dead right on Amantha Street. When it was determined that he was not going to die, he was charged with attempted murder on the police, and he eventually accepted an 8-year prison term after facing 40 years. He was released a few months ago and we caught up with him on his old block.

Alonzo, when you do these interviews how well connected is your relationship with these various gangs? Are you meeting them for the first time when conducting the interviews or do you have a past history with them? If so, is security ever a concern for you? After all, you are interviewing felons, parolees and murderers. Not exactly an easy job.
