What is DDoS?

Over the last quarter, there were approximately 500 DDoS attacks around the world with some lasting as long as 300 hours. In this Lightboard Lesson Peter Silva light up some #basics about DoS and DDoS attacks.

Yes, Booters, Stressers, and IP Stressers are 'pay-as-you go' DDoS as a Service solution. Basically, DDoS-for-hire services.

Too simplified. I do believe everyone can picture flooding the network with traffic quite well. Take the DDOS abstraction apart further and show us what is going on with the protocols and such.
