- Here is part one of my animated adaption of the 1966 comic strip originally published in 'The Dalek Outerspace Book' uk.groups.yahoo...
The story was illustrated by Richard Jennings and probably written by David Whittaker. It features the Golden Emperor, the dome-headed leader of the Daleks who featured in practically all of their 60s comic book outings. In this story the Emperor faces internal dissent and metaphysical doubt as he grapples with his lack of omnipotence.
This story is also the first time that the Daleks ability to travel in time is acknowledged in their comic book adventures. The excellent Dalek Emperor is adapted from Mechmaster's poserised version and he has also very kindly provided me with the open casing Emperor that was needed in this story. www.mechmaster....

Davros was in the old golden empoer dalek. That was the Reason for the odd shape.

it is a shame to see this animation a bet outdated in graphics for one i will love to see a remastered version of this everything is still great but i think it is time for a remastered to come since this was one of the first dalek fan animations i saw back in the day before i had a channel but the original still have it's charm
The opening music is Hawkwind/Earth calling but it was on the album Space Ritual not hurry on sundown( no such album)

The DALEKS are very loud to not understand what there saying. on my iPod it was vibrating it was that loud

Yeah I agree. Some of the Dalek voices were difficult to understand. Apart from that only criticism the video was truly awesome.

Sorry but the audio was really garbled.
Sorry, I couldn't get a word of it either even though it looks good.
I could hardly make out a single word in many scenes. Needs either captions or else clean up the audio processing

you've got the ring modulator on the wrong setting and the words spoken too fast. Can't make head nor tale of it. Shame because it looks great, please re-do the vocals and this will be an excellent production.
I agree. Apart from some of the Dalek voices, the video was superbly done.
@TheCastellan Do the Daleks have a democracy? look what happens when one of them suggests an alternative. I'm only going by the original comic strip, my guess it is a bit like voting in a one party state, more a formality than anything else. As for the voice mod, yes, there are problems, and soundtracks aren't my area of expertise. Should have asked an expert.
@crafty25936 Really? Well if that is true for others as well I may well consider re-recording the sound track. Are certain bits better or worse than others?

Loved the Dalek running away from the exhaust blast at 0:30. XD Was a lil hard to understand what they are saying.

@crafty25936 I didn't Iwas paraphrasing the Emperor in the parting of the ways or was it Davros, when all the Daleks are sorrounding the TARDIS and this deep voice booms 'Soon my children soon'. I know nothing of your age etc.

Davros was never in the comics, plus he was incompetent.
Ring mod, not foldback distortion! Blend the reverb too... then it will be fine.

Agreed ,Davros was a fail,he had his own agenda for the Daleks. The Daleks
always did better without Davros,though occasionally they needed him,like against
the Movellans. Still the Daleks could have preserved Davros's knowledge and turned him into a pure Dalek like themselves!
