    Nice car!! I really like your choice of wheels? What brand are they and what size?

      Those are actually the factory wheels and they’re 14” 4 lugs

      @@McC_62 Oh nice! I thought they were 15" and 5 lugs. I am trying to find the right set of steel wheels to convert my 1962 to 5 lug.

      @@juanmanuelgutierrez8756 same man! I love the hub caps I have but a friend gave me a set of disk brakes for the front but they’re 5 lugs, knuckles and all with a 2” drop. So hopefully I can park the nova for a few months soon and do the exhaust, get those on, and a few other small things that need to be addressed while it’s parked. I may get some 5 lug temps in the mean time just to get the new disks in

      @@McC_62 sweet nova, 62-64 were my favs. my dad had several,a 64 2door 327, and our family car was a 67 wagon,250 pg A/C! p/s car white with blue interior. this was mid 1980's. you ever dyno that thing? id love to know what a 194 sweetened up makes

      @@oldcarnocar that’s so dope! I have not dyno’d it but one day I would like to. I want to build a head for it and put a good sized cam and possibly boost it but I just took care of replacing most of the original front suspension parts with new ones cause literally every bushing was shot in the front end. Also because of the current throttle linkage it only opened the carb about 1/3 of the way so I need to change it for a cable but because it still runs and drives just fine as it is I wanted to take care of the suspension stuff first. Also, I’m jealous I would love a wagon one day the 66+ years are sexy as hell but maybe it’s just cause I have one and it’s my first car but I want like a 63’ 3 door wagon so bad.

    Where did you get the headers from?

    • @McC_62
      @McC_62  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I no longer have the headers from this video I now have a set of Clifford 6=8 shorty headers. The ones in this video were some long tube Holley’s but I chopped them up and re welded them into shorties because they were for a truck and were way too long. The welds were shit as I was learning from CZcams videos and this was my very first crack at welding but they lasted for about 2 years before the “welds” blew out and I just scrapped em for a proper set. I highly recommend Clifford 6=8 for anyone looking to get a little more power out of an old 6.
